By the Seashore with Beach Access and Panoramic Sound View in Port Orchard

Step into the living room of The Beachside Retreat.  Relax in the lazy-boy style turquoise chair or hide-a-bed while  feasting your eyes on the panoramic view of Puget Sound, the Seattle skyline, and the Cascade Mountains. Look past the porch of the family's 1900 home and you might see Mount Rainier in all its glory.

The beach you see is only a few steps away.  You have a good view of the fishing pier, the boat launch, and the picnic tables at the park.  

Barbeque, discover the microwave behind cupboard doors and have a microwaved meal, bake, or eat in the dining area or outside at the round table.  Utensils, bowls, pans are only a few steps away from each other.

Flip on the light and read, get out the cardtable and play a game.  Pick a video to watch on DVD or VHS, or just watch a television program.  Pop popcorn in the popcorn maker.  Stretch out on the hide-a-bed.

Choose which  bed you'll use.  Both the hide-a-bed and the bed are queen-sized.  The nightstands, chest of drawers,  an extra television, and the ironing board are all in the bedroom.  Turn the thermostat to the temperature you like.  It is located in the hall.

When you take a  shower you will enjoy having a curved hotel style rod. Take a bath if you prefer.  Reach under the counter and you'll find the hair dryer.

Sarah described our single wide mobile home as clean, cozy, quiet, comfortable. Phillip loved being on the beach.

Relax.  Walk. Make a sandcastle. Identify shells.  Wade in the water.
Have a barbeque. Read. Watch videos. Listen to music.  Take photos. Play games.  Play croquet.  Enjoy the view.

Take a ferry ride. Hike at Manchester State Park.  Tour Port Orchard, Bremerton, Seattle, Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Poulsbo, the Kitsap and Olympic penninsulas.

Nearest restaurant:  2 blocks

Nearest church: 6 blocks up the hill.

High Season:  May through August $600 per week.   Half week  $300                    Off Season:  $500 per week.   Half week  $250. We rent for the week or half week only.

Reservations are  taken with $100 deposit and rental agreement for up to 1 year ahead.  This is not refundable if reservation is cancelled. The entire rental fee is due two weeks before you are scheduled to arrive.Small indoor pets are only allowed with prior permission and pet deposit.  (The property is not fenced.)
