Extraordinary home overlooks beautiful Lake Michigan, lighthouse
pier, and the Riverwalk. No need even for a car, this place is one
block from the beach and 3-4 blocks to town.

Sleeps 15: Two separate (connecting) upstairs/downstairs
apartments, each with their own entrance. Spotless and beautifully
furnished, each unit has 3 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, livingroom, and
kitchen with an eating area. The downstairs also features a gas
fireplace.  The bedroom breakdown is as follows:
The main level until includes a bedroom with a king size bed, one with a queen and another with a day bed and trundle.  The upper level has one bedroom with a king, the second with a queen and a third bedroom with two twin beds. 

Each unit has glass sliding doors that open to a spacious deck area. The deck area overlooks the river/lake for breathtaking views and sunsets.

There is also a basement area in the home which provides an additional bedroom that includes a futon sofa/sleeper that sleeps 1-2 people. Also in the basement is a laundry area which provides an additional shower, toilet and washer/dryer.

We offer all of the amenities of home. Both kitchens are fully
equipped with major appliances on both levels, including a stove,
refridgerator, and microwave. Dishwasher on lower level only. They
are also stocked with small appliances (coffee maker, toaster,
blender)as well as silverware, dishes, cookware, and utensils.

The bathrooms are stocked with towels and washclothes as well
as paper products and soap.

The bedrooms are comfortably furnished and include new linens,
pillows, blankets and comforters.

General amenities include: a washer/dryer, central air conditioning, five
televisions with cable tv, vcr/dvd player, wireless internet, a gas grill, two pack-n-play cribs, beach chairs and water/beach toys.

Sit outside with friends and watch the boats sail along the river
out to the lake, or relax in the hammock with the breeze lulling you
off to sleep.

Take a short walk to the beach (2 blocks) or stroll into town and enjoy the
many shops and restaurants, only 3 blocks away.

The sunsets are indescribable and they’re all yours as you sit
outside enjoying a “peace” that you forgot existed. So if
relaxation and fun are what you’re looking for…come stay for a
vacation you will never forget!

South Haven is centrally located to many major cities which
makes for easy travel. It is 2 hours from Chicago, 3 hours from
Detroit, 1 hour from South Bend, and 1 hour from Grand Rapids.

The  South Beach Cottage is available for weekly rentals during 2013. The rental fees range from  $3,500 to $4,200 per week (Friday to Friday), depending on the week you are requesting.

A deposit of 50% of the rental fee is due within 15 days of making a reservation. The remaining balance is due to us by 45 days prior to your rental date.  Upon check-in, a fully refundable $300 damage deposit is due in the form of cash. All other payments are accepted in the form of money order or cashiers check.

Cancellations may occur after the deposit has been paid but before the balance is paid or outside of 45 days prior to your rental period. Cancellations within 45 days of your arrival date, even if the final payment has not been received, will result in forfeiture of the entire rental amount unless we are able to rent the property to another party for the full rental amount. If we are able to rent the property for a lesser amount you will only forfeit the difference. Refunds will not be given for early departure.


Check-in is at the property, 113 Michigan Ave. Friday, at 4:00 p.m. EST.  Check-out is the following Friday, prior to 10:00 a.m. EST.
