Vacation Rental Description

If you deserve the best then "PELICAN LANDING" is for you. Pelican 
Landing is the premier vacation destination within the Indian Summer 
Community, only 150 yards to the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent to 
approximately 1/4 mile of private pristine oceanfront. You don't 
need to catch a trolley to go to the beach here. Just follow the 
sound of the ocean, which you can hear from our condo, down the 
adjacent cul-de-sac and within 2 minutes you will walk upon our 
beautiful beach.
 
All of “PELICAN LANDING” has been completely remodeled and as active
owners we are committed to forever meet or exceed all of your 
family’s future vacation expectations with ongoing upgrades. We 
pride ourselves on providing the finest quality accommodations for 
our guests and this is the “5 Star Quality Standard” that we know 
you will find vacationing at Pelican Landing. We treat Pelican 
Landing like an awesome second home, and not the “it’s only rental 
property” attitude that is often found with many rental owners 
regarding the maintenance quality of their properties. 

Pelican Landing is on the Oceanside, across the road from the 
Currituck Club Golf Course. It is also within minutes of shopping 
and restaurants. Enjoy year round community tennis, pool (May 3-
Oct 11) and hot tub (May 3-May 31, Aug 23-Oct 11).

are tiled and the remainder of the condo has top quality carpet.

In addition, our guests can obtain free wireless internet service  
from "Maui-Wowi" Coffees & Smoothies Shop, located across Route 12 
in the Harris Teeters shopping Center at the Currituck Club. In 
addition, often a "local wireless signal" can be picked up from our 
property. This is a great added convenience while on vacation, 
especially for those who need to maintain contact with their 
business or associates back home.

Activities and Attractions

Have you had enough with too much work & too little 
play? ........well...maybe it's time to plan a beach vacation in 
Corolla, North Carolina. If your thinking about it, then look 
further and treat your family to one of the better things that life 
has to offer......some sand in between your toes and a cool drink in 
your hand does wonders for your spirit! 

If you have never been here, you are missing the experience of a 
truly fabulous vacation destination area with numerous options for 
your enjoyment. The Outer Banks offer some of the best year round 
blue water fishing in the world, with the Gulf Stream as close as 8 
miles off shore from Hatteras Inlet and within about 20 miles of 
Oregon Inlet. This is about a 50 minute car ride to the Oregon Inlet 
fishing Center (check out their web site for up to date fish reports)
and another 30 minutes further to Hatteras Harbor Marina (they also 
have updated fish reports on their web site). 

If golf is your passion, there are plenty of area courses to play, 
including "The Currituck Club", which is across the main road on the 
Sound Side. Golf Digest has rated the Currituck Club as "One of 
the Best Places to Play".

If golf is not your passion you can hang out on our secluded 
pristine private beach and watch the common sight of dolphins and 
pelicans. During the summer months a life guard is posted on our 
beach directly in front of our beach access walkway. USA Today 
described the Currituck beaches around Corolla as "one of the best 
undiscovered beaches on the East Coast." There are wild Spanish 
Mustangs that roam the remote beach area between Corolla and the 
Virginia state line. A 4-wheel drive vehicle or one of the local 
tour operators should be able to put you within sight of these 
beautiful creatures. In addition there are various types of kayak 
tours, the Wright Brothers Memorial, para-sailing, jet skiing, hang 
gliding, guided 4 Wheel Drive Trips into the remote area north of 
Corolla, dolphin watching cruises, great surfing and some of the 
best windsurfing on the east coast. You should be able to obtain 
more information for these activities on the web. 

Our beautiful condo is available for family rentals and must be 
treated with diligent care and respect during your stay. We pride 
ourselves on service, integrity and assisting you with making your 
significant family vacations a reality.

Lease holder must be at least 24 years of age and be present during 
the term of the lease. Family groups are required, unless

"FREE RENTAL WEEK": We offer a special "Free Rental Week" during any 
Off-Season Week priced at $595 between 10/18/08- 4/18/09(except for
Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week, Easter Recess Week and weeks where
holidays fall) for anyone who rents any combination of two weeks
priced at $795 or more, or three weeks priced at $595. Client would
only be responsible for paying the Admin / Cleaning Fee and refundable 
security deposit.

"SHORT STAYS" / DAILY RATE FOOTNOTE: Off Season Daily Rate = $120 per
night, with a 3 night minimum. A daily rate is only available off
season, unless stated otherwise. "SHORT STAYS" will be available from
9/20/07 - 5/17/2008. Please inquire with the owner about availability.
Payment policies for "SHORT STAYS" are the same as weekly stays (please 
review the below footnote). If you would like any other info please
let us know, but do not request things that are outside the policies
and procedures already indicated here. Thank you.
    
"SHORT STAYS" & WEEKLY RATE FOOTNOTE (PAYMENT POLICIES): For rentals 
you have 7 days to make your deposit payment (50% of the rental). 
If your desired week is less than 30 days away, your rental payment, 
refundable security deposit ($300), and cleaning fee ($100), must be 
received in full within 5 days. A signed lease agreement must 
accompany all payments. Leases can be faxed to expedite this 
procedure. Failure to receive the deposit and signed lease agreement 
within the specified time periods will result in cancellation of 
your reservation until these obligations are fulfilled. Rental 
reservations made more than 30 days in advance must have the rental 
balance, a $300 refundable security deposit, and a $100 
administrative / cleaning fee received no more than 30 days before 
your arrival date. These policies are consistent with those used by 
all resort management companies.
