Labyrinth Cottage Nature Sanctuary in Franklin

A sanctuary is a safe place, a protected place of healing. The Labyrinth Cottage is located in such
a place. The cottage sits on 7 acres that include ponds, streams, an old growth laurel forest, and
outdoor 7-circuit stone labyrinth. Inside the cottage is a 5 person fresh mountain water hot
tub, enclosed in a sunroom nestled behind beautiful butterfly bushes. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and
2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, local phone, and direct TV. A small session room is attached for
workshops or private meditation. Located just 1/2 mile from US 441, the land is private, yet easily
accessible for travel to area attractions.

The Labyrinth Cottage is located on 7 acres adjacent to the Otto Labyrinth Park and 1/2 mile away
from Mountain Valley Center's Well Being Center. We are 3 miles from Dillard, GA and 7 miles from
Franklin, NC. It is an easy drive from Atlanta, GA – just follow 85 to 985 Gainesville, GA and stay
on the same road until it turns into US 441 & follow it to us! We are an hour west of Asheville, NC.
We have an old growth Laurel Forest on the property, where the 500 year old laurels tower above you
as you sit on the bench between the creek and bubble spring. There are easy hiking trails,
waterfalls
in Highlands, NC, and gentle mountains to explore. Though many of our guests come with plans to
explore the area, most simply stay on the property, explore our forest, walk the ancient stone
labyrinth, and relax in the hot tub. A 2 minute drive takes you to Mountain Valley Center, where you
may enjoy a Polarity Therapy treatment, or browse through our unique gifts for Well Being. We
welcome

Security Deposit: $100.00.
$45.00 for access to labyrinth after dark (use of torches & permission for campfires) *Note: Fire
permit available upon request at time of check-in, weather conditions permitting.
Your Reservation is confirmed upon our receiving a signed Rental Agreement and confirmed advanced
payment of ½ total rental fee including taxes, by cash (in person), check, money order or credit
card. This payment is not refundable. The remaining balance, taxes and security deposit of $100.00
are due and payable immediately prior to occupancy.
