Vacation Rental Description
How to describe our wonderful home. We got our condo five years
go. And... we fell in love. So what to do?? We decided to
move to the area (it is just so wonderful). But our dilemma, we are
a large family and although our condo is absolutely great for a
smaller family or for holidays, it just isn't big enough for 7
people year round. We bought a home but just couldn't let go of
this fabulous condo. Where would we go, once the kids are gone?
Back to our condo of course. But in the meantime, it just made
sense to share it with you. I know you will love our home as much
as we do. The weather is perfect. The wild life is just amazing.
I love to see the fish jumping, one day we even saw dolphins
swimming beside our docks at Anchor Point. True story, Bill,
watching a spectacular sunset one evening, heard footsteps
approaching. He says "Wonderful sunset, huh?" and turns to see who
his fellow admirer is - to discover a 4 foot heron had walked up
beside him. (I'll never let him live that one down). And our
sunrises are just as breathtaking. Nothing beats heading off to the
docks in the early morning with a cup of green tea (or coffee) and
watching the reflections of the sunrise off the bay. We are just a
quick drive from Tampa International Airport (under 30 miles) and
located right on Tampa Bay. I would love for you to contact me so I

Vacation Rental Amenities
Anchor Point provides an extensive common room with full amenities
and patio (a wonderful place to meet your neighbors), come sit and
enjoy your morning coffee while overlooking the nautical life.
Swing by in the evening and use the communal charcoal BBQ (great
excuse to sit and wait for the fish to jump or the herons to visit)
or perhaps you would prefer a quieter evening of BBQ, we provide an
electric BBQ with the condo. This serene setting is perfect for
mental fitness, but a heated pool and an onsite tennis court will
help the keep the body fit too. For your enjoyment, the pristine
swimming pool is within steps of your back door. On some evenings
you can actually see the steam rising from the pool. We also supply
you with tennis rackets and balls to help you take advantage of all
we have to offer. There is a private washer and dryer in the
condo. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove,
2 ovens, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and linens. Beddings and
towels are provided. Master bedroom has a king-size bed, full
ensuite bathroom, desk, and private balcony. Second bedroom has a
bunk bed futon with a single on top and a double size futon on the
bottom. Living room has a TV with DVD player and cable connection.
There is a dining area and a breakfast counter. The screened lanai
is a fabulous place to enjoy a candlelit glass of wine in the
evening or enjoy a meal, there is a patio set there for your
enjoyment. The condo is also air-conditioned for your comfort. A
phone is provided in the condo and is equipped for local calls. You
have your own personal parking space steps from your front door.
Our condo is non-smoking for your enjoyment.
Activities and Attractions
There is a reason it is called paradise!
The Apollo beach area offers golfing, fishing (either off our own
docks, down by the beach or dare to venture a charter of Tampa Bay
or deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico), restaurants (you have
got to visit the Manatee Cafe for breakfast one morning and don't
forget Tuesday nights at Alpha Restaurant for all you can eat
spaghetti - wonderful). The nature preserve down the road from us,
is not to be missed. The perfect place for a walk on the beach, or
perhaps a jog. (WHERE are the people??) It is very secluded, I have
never seen more than a few dozen people there at any given time.
Awesome finds to be had; we have found no less than a dozen shark
teeth there. Thousands of seashells for the picking. We have also
seen manatee (5 FEET AWAY), dolphins, stingrays, pelicans, the list
goes on. There is always a fisherman there willing to share his
fishing stories with you, all you need do is ask. There is a marina
within walking distance as well as our own docks at Anchor Point
(there are at times docking slips available for an additional cost,
please ask me to find out for you). Your visit can't be completed
until you have visited the Manatee Viewing Center (open November to
March), where you will see dozens of Manatee playfully swimming
about in an inlet off Big Bend Road (these are wild manatee not
captive).
Enjoy a quiet evening in your condo, by the pool or sitting on the
docks on the fabulous patio, or wander to one of the local watering
holes, perhaps there is some live entertainment, (my personal
favorite is the tiki hut at the Circles Marina, just down the road
from us). Just an hour and a half from Orlando, the theme parks are
within driving distance (but far enough away to keep our little
corner of the world tranquil). Shopping is but a quick drive away,
with old stand bys like Walmart as well as outlet shopping and
malls. There are many sources about for water sports if you're
interested, be it sailing, charter fishing, water-skiing,
parasailing, or jet skiing.

We would love for you to enjoy our wonderful corner of paradise and
are offering to you reduced rates for extended stays.
1 month - $2000
6 months - $1650 per month
12 months - $1400 per month
Cleaning fee - $100
Refundable Security deposit - $300
No additional fees, ie. taxes, utilities
