The Crown Jewel is a luxury four bedroom home with three and a half
baths, located right on the shores of the Monterey Bay, in the
secluded, gated community of Monterey Dunes Colony. Monterey Dunes
Colony is in Monterey County, California, on the bay frontage between
Marina and Moss
Landing, approximately 15 minutes from the city of Monterey and 20
minutes from Carmel. Ocean front vistas are visible from every
bedroom. The two-story plan includes two master suites with king-size
beds, bedrooms three and four have king and queen size bed. The home
includes a wet bar, two refrigerators, fireplace, 4 televisions,
satellite TV, crib/playpen, high chair, Weber barbecue, DVD/VCR, full
kitchen with
dishwasher and disposal, washer and dryer
The Monterey Peninsula is home to the Monterey Aquarium, the Monterey
Jazz Festival, Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf and the AT&T Pro-am
tournament. There are 20 professional golf courses within 20 miles.

The Colony includes a swimming pool, clubhouse, Jacuzzi, four tennis
courts, putting green, driving range, full basketball court, beach
volleyball court, bocce ball court and shuffleboard court. All are
available to renters. The swimming pool is heated from Easter to
September's end. The Jacuzzi is year-round.

The surrounding area includes biking, fishing, golf, shopping,
sailing, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, marine mammal
viewing, running, jogging, rollerblading and the Elkhorn Slough bird

The Monterey Peninsula is home to twenty professional-class golf
courses, including Pebble Beach, as well as the Monterey Aquarium,
Cannery Row, 17 mile drive, Carmel, Laguna Seca Race Track and the
National Steinbeck Center.

The rate structure is high for the summer and low in the winter, with
intermediate rates during spring and fall. There is a two-night
minimum stay in fall, winter and spring, with a five night minimum stay
during summer. The rates below do not include the 10.5% Monterey
County Hotel tax or a one-time cleaning fee of $110. There is a
reservation deposit of $300-$1500/week, dependent upon season and
length of stay. Weekly rates are:

Two-night weekends are available in all seasons except the summer:
Spring and Fall $1400
Winter $1000
Two-night weekends are normally Friday and Saturday nights, departing
Sunday.
