You simply will not find a vacation property in wonderful Carlsbad better situated than this lovely two-bedroom unit tucked away in the Monterey-Gage complex.  For starters, it assures you near-seclusion and privacy, but at the same time placing you just footsteps from the very center of Carlsbad, "the village," as locals term it.  You are within a block or two of most of the village's shops and restaurants, really just about everything including the train station.  No kidding, taking a train to San Diego is no big deal if you are staying in Monterey-Gage.  And, most importantly, you'll be delighted to know that Carlsbad's beautiful beach is a mere five-minute walk.

If you are driving you will appreciate the convenience of covered, dedicated parking.  Upon entering the unit you will find it tastefully appointed in a nautical theme, and with no-one above or below you.  The 51" TV is wall-mounted, safely out of the way.  And, of course there is Wi-Fi and high-speed internet access.

The kitchen has range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and everything you need to prepare and serve a meal - should you wish to do so.

The "Captain's Quarters" has a queen-size bed and its own TV; the " Crew's Quarters" has a pair of twin beds.  Should you require additional sleeping space, the living room sofa opens into a queen-size bed.

Lots of live entertainment one block away, jazz, pop, rock, blues,
country, dance, listen while eating at fire pits. Many indoor-
outdoor restaurants, classy or easy on the wallet. Great Sunday
brunch or eat on the beach.
Street fair, art show, jazz in the parks, bi-plane rides, marathon
& triathlon, ocean sunsets!!
Take the Coaster Train (1 block) to downtown San Diego & watch the
Padres - baseball or the Chargers - football. Legoland, San Diego
Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Carlsbad Flower Fields, Golf, Casinos....etc.
