Vacation Rental Description

Quiet ,restful, and  undisturbed. If this would interest you we have the place. Two bedroom cabin 
tucked away in a natural longleaf pine setting surrounded by an early 19th century split rail fence. 
Our property is located in Pitts Ga.approximately 25 miles from Lake Blackshear. We are located on 
an old turpentine plantation which is now an operating row crop and timber farm. A beautiful small 
lake is nestled away in the center of the property. Roads and bike trails are abundant for riding
or hiking. All types of wildlife are present; deer, turkeys, quail, many native species of 
birdsincluding pileated woodpeckers, ducks and geese call this area home. The endangered gopher 
tortoise is abundant. This is a quiet restful atmosphere for a weekend retreat or a weeks adventure. 
Natural longleaf pines abound along with large hardwood bottoms and creeks . Wildlife feeding areas 
are established and many species of wildlife can be seen as you travel through the property.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Two bedroom cabin will sleep four. There is a single bath with shower and tub . The cabin has 
central heat and air. The large back porch overlooks a mixed timberland bottom where wildlife can be 
seen from the relaxing swing or rocking chairs. T.V. , VCR, and DVD are available. There is no phone 
service but most cell service has good reception. Linens, towels and basic cooking utensils are 
provided. Ther is a dishwasher, microwave and full service kitchen. The cabin has a greatroom 
arrangment for the living area. Catch and release fishing is allowed in the lake. Equipment for 
activites like fishing ,biking , birdwatchng or hiking is not provided . Master bedroom can be 
equipped with either two single beds or one double bed at your request.

Activities and Attractions

 Peace-Relaxation-Fishing-Hiking-Biking,  Antique stores are in the surrounding communities.Some 
hunting is available. Numerous festivals occur during the spring and summer months 
in the surrounding area. Bird Watching and all types of wildlife viewing is available.Deer ,rabbits, 
squirrels, all type birds and even an occasional turkey can be seen right in the cabins  surrounding 
area.

Vacation Rental Rates

$125 per night with a two night minimum, weekly rate $750- payment in advance to reserve
