Welcome to Palm Cottage, our tropical island home just steps from Gulfport Beach and Gulfport's Art District.

This lovely, fully-equipped home is just right for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Named for the many varieties of palm trees found on the property, the professionally landscaped and irrigated grounds make the perfect setting for your stay. The front porch is screened and private, and from there you can view the surrounding grounds and the beach. Paved pathways lead from the parking area, to the patio and to the laundry room. Walk to the beach, the Gulfport Casino, waterfront restaurants, Gulfport's quirky shops, the library and the theater. Gulfport connects to the beach trolley and the Pinellas Trail (40-mile railway converted to hike and bike trail). Just a quick drive to the many antique shops of St Petersburg, the Don Cesear and St Pete Beach resorts, Busch Gardens and many water activities. One mile to the Gulfport Marina and boat launch, to Clam Bayou and its Nature Park. At the marina you can take sailing lessons or take a memorable dolphin watch cruise to Egmont Key.

Inside the home you'll find real wood floors in the living area and bedrooms, and new double-paned, energy efficient and quiet windows perfect for letting in the sea breezes on a cool day. We have tile floors in the kitchen and bath. The wicker/rattan furnishings in the living area are stylish and comfortable.

Views of beach and water from living room, screened porch and front yard. Property is decorated inside and out in tropical island themes. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots/pans/dishes and a large gas grill is available for use. Property is beautifully landscaped and well-lit at night so you may entertain outside if desired. Microwave, mixer, blender, coffee pot.

Gulfport is a quiet, cozy beachside community established in the early 1900's. It is located on Boca Ciega Bay with views of St. Pete Beach to the west and Isla del Sol to the south. View spectacular sunsets over Boca Ciega Bay and thunderous pink clouds preceding our famous summer afternoon storms!

Gulfport has excellent restaurants, an exciting night life, a fishing pier, marina, excellent shopping including unique works by local and national artists and photographers, tennis and shuffleboard courts, a library, covered beach pavilions, a performing arts theater, a waterfront casino dance hall and above all, a white sand beach and playground equipment for children. Also located on the beach front is a walking pier, benches and bench swings, indoor/outdoor recreational/physical fitness centers, which are handicapped and wheelchair accessible, a volleyball/basketball court, a measured walking path and fitness circuit. Downtown Gulfport (3 blocks away) has art galleries, twice monthly art walks, sailing and glass blowing classes, a historic ballroom dance hall, weekly fresh produce market and beach front pubs. Deposit to reserve $300 to $700, depending on length of stay.

Balance due 30 days prior to arrival. If < 30 days, then full amount.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival forfeit all monies
paid.
Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to arrival will
result in a refund of the deposit, less a $100 handling fee.
Reservations not paid in full prior to final payment due date will
be cancelled. No refunds given for early departures.
CHANGES: There is a $50 charge for modification of a confirmed
reservation.
PAYMENT: All rates are in US Funds and are payable in US funds.
