What could be better than the cool, salty air and panoramic views at
Ocean Breezes Farm House? It just doesn’t get better than this --
wherever you roam, inside and out, you’ll be delighted by the comfort
and charm! Ocean Breezes is a rambling 1800’s farmhouse large enough
for your family reunion, group vacation, or corporate retreat. The
house has been completely refurbished yet the wonderful butler’s
pantry, tin ceilings, and country farmhouse feel have been preserved.
Sit on the glassed in sun porch and watch the tide, fishing boats,
and wildlife. Gather the group together in the large dining room or
terrific great room. Escape to your own private nook on the sun
porch, patio, or in one of the five bedrooms. Of course, you’ll also
love the path down to the ocean shore. The rambling farm house has
five bedrooms, including a huge master bedroom with king bed, pine
floors, and bath with claw foot tub. A queen bedroom with skylights
is tucked away in the rear of the house for a private retreat. The
oldest wing of the farmhouse has 2 bedrooms with full beds and 1
bedroom with twin bed and a second full bath. The first floor has a
newly appointed kitchen, original butler’s pantry, coat room, sun
porch, dining room, office, and huge great room. The office has a
well equipped work space with high speed Internet and free long
distance phone service. View of the ocean from nearly every room! No
smoking indoors. Pets considered. This wonderful old
house has just been completely rennovated.

activities and attractions in Lubec Maine
Lubec is about as "Down East" as you can get. It is home to the West
Quoddy Head Lighthouse, situated at the easternmost point of land in
the U.S. The Down East area showcases nature at her finest. Whales,
porpoises, eagles, osprey, moose and bear inhabit the region. During
the migration season, whales pass close enough to be observed from
shore! Beach roses, wild iris, and beach peas line the pristine
shoreline. In Lubec you will find sandy beaches, bold coastal
cliffs, coastal rain forest, wildflower meadows, and peat bogs.
Three state parks, a national park, a national wildlife refuge, and
several nature preserves all offer a variety of well maintained
hiking trails. Local whale, wildlife, and puffin tours offer the
chance to observe nature up close from the water as do kayak and
canoe rental facilities and many public boat ramps. Learn about the
local culture and ecology on a shoreline nature or history tour. The
area is rich in history—the first naval battle of the Revolutionary
War was fought in nearby Machiasport. Maine's own "Cannery Row"
lined the waterfronts of Lubec and Eastport with sardine canning
factories and herring smoke houses. You'll find it all here—rich
history, spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, and friendly
people. You won't find pollution, crowds, or traffic jams.
