Location:
The View Chalet is at the south edge of Asheville 10 - 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore House, and the Asheville airport. Although the home is secluded, it is right in town!  It's just 20 minutes from Hendersonville and Black Mountain.

Amenities:
Be deliciously spoiled by our amenities: amazing massage chair, powerful 6 person hot tub with a view, ultra plush mattresses including 2 kings, 2 queens, 1 twin...all with sumptuous bedding; thick soft towels, elegant comfortable furnishings, wonderful art work, 6 TV's including a digital 52 inch HDTV with HDMI & surround sound & digital premium channels, high-speed wireless Internet, endless hot water system, firepit, children's indoor playhouse & outdoor playground, central heat & air. Best of all is the spectacular mountain VIEW that will take your breath away!!!

Kitchen: (2nd level)
Enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen complete with quality Kitchen Aid cookware, fun hand-painted dishes, quality flatware, sharp cooking knives, coffee maker, coffee grinder, crock pot, plentiful pots, pans, baking dishes & plenty of kitchen accessories & gadgets to please any cook. And, yes, you can cook with gas! There is a second full refrigerator for packing away food for an entire week!

Living Room: (2nd level)
This comfortable has terra cotta tile floors and elegant furnishings. Relaxing sofas (1 is queen sleeper), chairs and oversized floor pillows are a great place to gather to watch the 57" HDTV/DVD w/surround sound, gas log fireplace with remote control, or simply gaze at the 50 mile views out your picture window.

Family Room: (1st level)
The first level entry door opens to the warm ambiance of the family room.  Relax in the 2 comfy sofas (1 is a queen sleeper) & watch the 37" HDTV with built-in DVD player.  The back of this very large room is curtained off for a plush queen bed, fireplace and another TV with built-in DVD & VCR. 

Dining Room & Outdoor Living Areas: (2nd level)
The gracious dining room looks out on astounding views in several directions. Dine inside on the beautiful table or go out the sliding glass doors to the deck beyond to eat alfresco. This front patio area feels like a second living room for relaxing & visiting while you take in the fresh air & mountain views. For a change of setting, you can also enjoy the large back deck off the kitchen where there is another eating area & views of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Wherever you sit, you can watch the scenes unfold from early morning mists, crisp clear view after a rain or the hues of the sunset sky.

4 Bedrooms:
Enjoy four beautifully decorated bedrooms complete with high count cotton sheets, butter soft blankets and gorgeous comforters. Two bedrooms on the 3rd level feature top quality king mattresses, love seats, TV/DVD/VCRs and one with a balcony for a fabulous view.  Two other bedrooms have a plush queen mattress and TV/DVD/VCR. These superior mattresses will assure you of a restful night's sleep. The small child's playroom  on the 1st level has a playhouse and a twin bed.

For large groups needing extra sleeping areas, both the living room and family room have queen sleeper sofas and privacy curtains. In addition, there is a twin quick inflate/deflate air bed available for your use.

Child & Baby Friendly!
For your little ones, our small children's room with a twin bed has an adorable playhouse, stuffed animals, toys, books, games, and a wonderful 8' x 10' jungle mural of happy animals! There are also a crib, booster seat, sturdy stroller, stuffed animals, soft blankies, books, infant bath tub and child-size sleeping bags, child gates and more. Outside there is a great playground area with Fort, Slide, Swings, Climbing Wall, Robe Ladder and Picnic Table.

Entertainment:
There are 6 televisions throughout the home and an extensive video library to make your movie selections. Each bedroom has its own TV with easy to use built-in VCR/DVD, as well as a 52 inch wide screen HDTV with HDMI 16:9, surround sound and premium movie channels in the living room. There is a Play Station 2 & fun board games for added entertainment.

For your added convenience, there is are two full size washer and dryer sets in the laundry room for your use.

Sightseeing along the Blue Ridge Parkway is outstanding with many hiking trails & waterfalls along the way, These ancient Appalachian Mountains is home to mountain music & dancing, Several times a week you can test your dancing shoes at Contra Dancing with live upbeat Celtic music.
