Vacation Rental Description

Beautiful all concrete waterfront home in Islamorada.  Located in 
a very quite neihborhood on the oceanside at MM 76.5.  This home is 
the fourth from the ocean and offers very easy boating access to 
both the bay and ocean and wonderful water views from almost every 
window.  Tarpon, Bonefish and permit patrol the flats just a few 
hundred feet from the dock and the famous channel two and five 
passes are just a couple miles south!

Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a large bathroom.  The 
oversized kitchen features stainless steel appliances, over 50 
square feet of marble countertop and a dishwasher.  Off the kitchen 
is a separate dining room with seating for eight or more. The great 
room is warm, bright and spacious with new furniture a 32" LCD HD TV 
and even a telescope for gazing out to the ocean.  Four sliding 
glass doors open onto the balcony, which wraps around two side of 
the house, capturing the cool ocean breezes and the wonderful views.

Downstairs is not just another bedroom, but a private and beautiful 
apartment with a bedroom and bath, kitchen/bar area and a living 
room all with sliding glass doors that open onto a cozy private 
patio.  Imagine an oasis within and oasis!  

The house has 60 feet directly on the canal plus a 30 foot by 15 
foot cut in boat slip.  With a total of 90 feet of step down 
seawall you will have excellent and safe access to your boat.  A 
fish cleaning station, water and electric are at or near the 
seawall.  A secure garage/workshop with a new washer, dryer and 
bait freezer is included has a keyless entry system.  
There is parking on the property for up to four vehicles plus two 
boat trailers, an often overlooked asset.

Activities and Attractions

Where do you start...there's that much to do!  Easy access to the 
bay and Everglades as well as the reef and offshore fishing and 
diving. You can walk to Robbies and feed the tarpon, you'll pass 
The Net, tennis club on your way.  Sandy Cove and Caloosa 
Cove Marina's are three miles south and Bud & Mary's and 
Poppa Joes Marina's are three miles north.  

There are boat launching facilities nearby, Indian Key and 
Lignumvitae Key state parks are only 1.5 and 2.5 miles from the 
dock and offer daily tours.  The wreck of the San Pedro is just 
over a mile from the dock in 18 feet of water and and Indian Key 
light and reef is about five miles straight out, both offer 
excellent dive opportunities.  

The island of Lower Matecumbe has a wide bike path stretching 
it's entire length and set well off the highway for safety and the 
scenery is excellent.  There are public beaches at the south end 
of the island (three miles away) and a fishing pier (used to be 
the old Channel two bridge), both with parking and facilities 
available.  

Restaurants to suite nearly every taste and budget are within just 
a few miles of the house.  The Worldwide Sportsman and the 
public library are only four miles north.  And if you just have to 
swim in a pool, Islamorada has built an olympic size model 
complete with diving, a dog park and skateboarding facilities and 
it's open to the public.
