Rockland has an outstanding museum featuring a large collection of  
Wyeth Paintings. Several fine golf courses are in the area.  
Spectacular hiking in the Camden Hills, Day-trips on Sailing vessels  
or, charter a boat and investigate Penobscot Bay, take sailing  
lessons, Visit nearby islands on island ferries, browse in the many  
art galleries. Outsanding resaurants abound. Rockland is within two  
hours of Acadia National Park, and one and one-half hours of  
Portland.
