Trailside Retreat in Dade City

Location: We're right on the Withlacoochee State Trail, so you don't need to drive before you can ride your bicycle or just walk on the trail. This paved trail is 46 miles long and its south end (where you will be) is mostly wildlife management areas and state forests. As you go north, you will also see many pastures and several small towns but not before you pass through the Withlacoochee State Forest, famous for its off-road biking and equestrian (over 40 miles of each) and hiking (over 20 miles) trails.
Property: It's a small organic farm with small private lake (fishing) and only one house on it. We have sheep and dogs. The animals are away from the house but this is a working farm, so there may be some noise every once in a while.
Accommodations: part of the house (we live in the other). The rental unit has 1 br - 1 bath and a study. If you pay for Grand Duke we will open a door to additional bedroom and bathroom, so you will have 2 br - 2 bath suite. Private entrance, private kitchen, central heat and AC, satellite TV, free high-speed Internet, lake view, screened and open porches with gas fireplace, queen size beds, oversized jacuzzi bath (in 2 br combo). The house was built in 2000, many appliances and furniture are brand new.
Other: children are welcome, most pets can be accommodated, bicycle
rentals (new hybrid bicycles), less than five miles to the nearest restaurant, golf course and supermarket, less than a mile to the nearest convenience store. Less than an hour drive to the Gulf
of Mexico (swimming, snorkeling, scuba, boating, deep sea fishing),
about 1 hr 15 minutes to the Disney and Universal, about 40 minutes to Tampa shopping district, downtown and the airport. About 1 hr 30
minutes to Orlando airport.

Linens, towels, soap, shampoo and shower gel are provided.
