Kate’s cottage at Maxwelton beach is the perfect spot for your vacation getaway. Miles of 
sandy beach are less than 50 yards from your back door and the water’s of Puget Sound and 
the Olympic Mountains provide the view from your living room window.

amenities to make your stay here unparalleled.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Kate’s cottage has been recently renovated and has all major appliances in excellent 
condition: dish washer, washer/dryer, refrigerator. Fully equipped kitchen.  Lopi wood 
burning fireplace insert.  Gas furnace, Television, Sundance 5 person spa w/stereo system.

Queen size bed in master bedroom, two twin beds in 2nd room, sofa bed in living room. 
Dining room table seats up to 8. Dinghy with oars and life preserver, crab trap, football

High speed wireless Internet access

Handicapped accessible entrance and wheelchair friendly bathroom (multiple grab bars 
and no lip access to shower)

Activities and Attractions

Beach walks and beach combing, from the beach in front of our cottage you can walk for 
miles in either direction.

Golf – we have 9 and 18 hole courses nearby.
Explore historical towns of Langley, Freeland, and Coupeville
Go for a hike at Ebey’s Landing, South Whidbey State Park, or Ft Casey State Park
Check out the Whidbey Island Winery near Langley
During the windy season, bring your wind surfer and enjoy the winds of Useless Bay
Fish, Crab, and Clam on our beach and bay
Play Tennis at the local high school
In the spring and early summer, enjoy the rhododendrons at Meerkerk Gardens
Bring your fly rod and try the fishing in Lone, Goss, and Pass lakes or on the beach
Rent a bike and take a bike tour
Take a drive up north and try your luck at the Swinomish Casino

Vacation Rental Rates

Peak Season (Jun 15 through Sept 15) and Holiday weekends
      $1425/week,  $300/night
All Other Dates   $900/week, $165/night

Additional guest quarters: 2 bedrooms and bath is also available for
      and additional $600 per wk peak / $400 per wk off peak
In addition, there will be 10% in sales tax and an $95 cleaning fee
We also require a $250 damage/reservation deposit
