La Belle du Quartier - Neighborhood Charmer - in the trendy and
friendly Monkland Village, full of restaurants and shops.
Warm, welcoming, comfortable, attractive and artistic 2-brm
upper duplex. Ideal for 2 to 5.
Original 1920's oak woodwork, oak floors, light fixtures. A
living/dining room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Fully
equipped: stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee
maker, TV, DVD player, CD player/sound system, and air
conditioning.
Off the kitchen is a balcony. It overlooks the backyard, where
lilacs flower in early summer. Geraniums bloom on the balcony.
It is a great place for a quiet breakfast or supper.
Available by the week.
La Belle du Quartier is in a peaceful old area, where trees
shade the streets. Yet, it is just 12 minutes from the heart of
downtown Montreal.
Close to parks, pool, tennis, and public transportation (including
metro). Not far from bike paths along the Lachine Canal and
Saint Laurence River. In a very safe area (all of Montreal is safe,
a place where people can walk virtually anywhere, any time of
day or night).
Montreal - home to festivals galore (the Jazz Fest, Film Fest,
Comedy Fest, and more), home to museums, home to the
Grand Prix, home to the cobble-stoned streets of Old Montreal,
and home to La Belle du Quartier.
