Just 15 minutes from Interstate 95, Sauga Point is a quiet peninsula
across the harbor from the Village of Wickford. Sauga Point has two
beaches, is a perfect spot for strolling, biking and shell and sea
glass collecting, and its waters are ideal for kayaking, rowing,
clamming, fishing, and sailing. Nearby are golf courses, hiking
trails, antique shops, weekly outdoor concerts, and local
vineyards. The renowned annual Wickford Art Festival is held in
July.
Sauga Point is within walking distance of the Martha's Vineyard High
Speed Ferry, and a short drive to the Block Island Ferry. Nearby
Providence offers fine restaurants, a variety of performing arts
offerings, museums, galleries, and college and university
activities. Just across Narragansett Bay are the mansions of
Newport, numerous Newport music festivals, and the internationally
acclaimed Black Ships Festival. Cape Cod, Boston, Plymouth, and
other shoreline destinations are convenient day trips.
The Bungalow is available at $4,500 per month (monthly rental only)
