The Cottage on Grove is a two bedroom, furnished house available for rent in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Less than half a mile walk to the heart of Old Orchard Beach, including The Famous Pier, Palace Playland beachfront amusement park, shopping, food, and a 7-mile stretch of wide, sandy beach.

May 13 - 18 USCAA 2011 - National Baseball Tournament
Ten USCAA baseball teams competing at The Ballpark for a double elimination tournament to win the USCAA 2010 Championship Trophy. Tournament includes day and evening games, opening and closing ceremonies, parade, festival and other fun-filled activities. Events open to the public.

May 21st Beerfest – 13th Annual
All day event featuring over 30 microbrews and live music on the Pier.

May 30 Memorial Day Parade
The Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion of Old Orchard Beach co-host this 1pm annual parade.

June 9 – 12 8th Annual Back to the Beach Corvette Weekend
Hundreds of corvettes arrive for a welcome party, grand prix racing, doo wop dance, car cruises and awards banquet with dance and DJ.

June 25th - 7th Annual Cpt. Christopher S. Cash Memorial 5K and 2.5 Mile Walk
Time of Run: 8:30am, Time of Walk: 8:40am, Kid’s Fun Run: 7:45am. Start/Finish at E. Emerson Cummings Blvd. (behind OOB Police Station) All proceeds benefit the Captain Christopher S. Cash Memorial Scholarship Fund.

July 3 - 4 – 5 Parade and 23rd Annual Family Sand Sculpture Contest - Ocean Park
Come enjoy a parade (July 4 starting at 10 a.m.) and band concert with line and square dancing. Family sand sculpture contest (July 3 from 3-5pm) on the beach . Fun for the entire family.

July 4 Fireworks In The Square
July 4th Fireworks on the beach next to the Old Orchard Beach Pier. (Fireworks take place on Monday, July 4th .)

July 23 - Annual Arts and Crafts Fair
Art in Memorial Park featuring numerous Maine and New England artists work on display for sale and judging. Entertainment by the Salvation Army Band and a barbershop quartet. Proceeds to benefit the Libby Memorial Library Building Fund. Rain date: July 24

July 30 – August 5 Salvation Army Pier Ministry
Week long evening entertainment in The Square featuring vocalists, magicians, bilingual speakers, bands and other entertainment. Parade of Witness. 14th annual golf tournament. Volleyball beach blast.

August 6 Illumination Night - Ocean Park
Ocean Park community lights their homes during the 21st annual Festival of Lights. Band concert and strawberry shortcake are special favorites during this event.

August 19 – 21 28th Annual Beach Olympics
Three days of fun competition, music, displays and a presentation to benefit Special Olympics of Maine. On the Beach, in The Square and the surrounding area. All welcome. Sponsored by Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution & Town of Old Orchard Beach.

August 20 Annual 5k Race
Enjoy a kid's "fun run" or adult 5k through town with T-shirts and medals for the kids and other awards for divisional winners. All are welcome.

September 10 – 11 Tri-State Fishing Tournament
Catch and release for striped bass and blue fish on the Beach.

September 10 Bikefest On The Pier
Motorcycle showcase with live music, a giant pig roast and vendors. Ride your motorcycle on the pier! Hundreds of motorcycles on display.

September 9 – 11 Tow Truck and Meet Parade
21st Annual show provided by the towing and Recovery Association of Maine. Three day show includes driver skills tests, police and fire demos, parade, awards and other fun events. Memorial Park and First Street Open to the general public.

September 16 – 17 18th Annual Car Show
Car show with many divisions, entertainment, trophies and awards. Friday night lineup on Main Street with parade and car show on Saturday. Great family fun for all. Sponsored by Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution & Town of Old Orchard Beach.
