This enchanting home has sweeping mountain and partial ocean views in a quite residential neighborhood less than three minutes to the beach or downtown.

The most popular home in our offering, guests rave about cleanliness, peaceful location, warmly decorated interior and fun extras such as ping pong, boogie board and umbrella, kids toys and hot tub. 

With wireless Internet, washer/dryer and ample linens a week- or month-long stay is possible and utterly comfortable in this home.

Bedroom One: Queen bed with moutain view, TV, steps to gated yard.

Bedroom Two: King bed, 1/2 bath, partial ocean view, desk

Each of the two bedrooms has vaulted ceilings, new mattresses (Fall 2010) and fine linens. A twin floor mattress can be placed in either bedroom permitting the home to sleep four adults comfortably and five-six with children.

Dining room table seats four-six (up to eight if you don't mind being chummy). The kitchen bar has seating for two and a chair mounted high chair is included for the smallest guest.

Living room has flat screen TV, DVD player and movie library suited for kids and adults alike including the latest comedy, romance, mystery and action movies.  Board games, tour and hiking books as well as coupons for local attractions are provided to make the most of your stay.

Rates vary by length of stay and number in party and range from $189 – $275/night Fall, Winter and Spring and $199 – $325/night during the Summer.

"Home away from home...but in Santa Barbara" March 2012

We rented the house for a week during which our daughter got married. So comfortable and spacious. The house and yards couldn't have been more wonderful for ourselves, the kids with us, and family and friends who visited. The home is complete with everything you need...and more. "Charming...just perfect!" March 2011

Really nice, cozy place with a great kitchen and toys and movies for the kids. My wife was happy the kitchen had a window to the yard where the kids played so she could cook and they could play. We played ping pong almost every day and liked having a hot tub too. I liked the wireless Internet - was able to take a couple more days vacation that way. We walked to Hilda Rae Park a couple times (took five minutes) where they had great views of the city and good play structure for our five year old. Thank you!  - Scott and Judy Mae

"Pleasantly Surprised" December 2010

We had never vacationed using a vac home and we were really happy with what we landed. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and the way the house sits, we didn't have any neighbors, yet we were in a neighborhood.   We loved the views (wow!) and the gated yard for our toddler was perfect. She loved the hot wheels car and the dvds.  The beds were comfortable and the home was really well-stocked in the linens and kitchen department.

"Cute, Nice Views" October 2009

We loved this cottage! Just girls for this trip and it was a perfect location. Had fun playing board games, sitting on the patio watching the sunset and bbq'ing. They have a good collection of DVDs. It was close to downtown (loved the shopping) and even though we didn't go to the beach on this trip we noticed they have a boogie board and other beach stuff.
