Rustic Adirondack charm abounds in this 5 bedroom waterfront home nestled on 16 acreas of wooded land
with over 250 feet on the Hudson River. This home has a dock for boating, fishing and swimming. It
also has a large deck that reaches out over the water on which you can relax, sunbathe and dine. The
magnificent sunsets can be viewed from the deck, dock, patio, and both of the screened-in porches one
on each level of our home. There are 5 bedrooms - 2 have queen-sized beds, one has a double bed, one
has twin beds and one has a single bed. There is also a cot and a folding chair futon that can be
used in any of the 3 larger bedrooms. A rustic back porch that looks up at the wooded grounds is
another spot where you and your guests can go to enjoy the serenity of the Adirondacks. The 16 acreas
of property are fun to explore - find the secret paths, the babbbling (wether permiting) brook and
large boulders. Enjoy an early morning breakfast on the downstairs porch as you look out unto the
mirror-like serene river. By lunchtime you will be ready to have lunch on the deck as you watch the
boaters and jet skiers go by. Tea time is perfect in the second floor wicker-furnished porch. Have
cocktails ay your patio bar and then dinner on your deck, the porch, or in the kitchen which seats 8
or you can go to any one of the fine eating establishments. The house with its 3 porches, deck, dock,
16 acres, 25 x 30 foot knotty-pine great room with its different seating areas and the pool room
offers you and your guests many opportunities to find alone time as well as enjoy each others company
in one spot. We are 15 miles from historic Saratoga and its famous race track, Performing Arts Center
(SPAC), museums, golf courses and shopping. In addition, we are 12 miles south of Lake George with
its riverboats, operas, mightclubs, Great Escapes theme park among the many theme parks, outlets and
malls. If you like the water, the mountains, nature, beautiful sunrises, fun, togetherness and alone
time you will love this Adirondack getaway vacation home. As soon as you see it you will know why we
say "We Love It Here!!!"
