Snuggled deep in the Osceola Forest amongst the Ponderosa Pines, about

Nothing fancy, rustic to some, it invites the weary traveler to get
away from the rest of the crowd, kick off their shoes and rest a while..

all furniture, kitchen pots, pans, dishes, microwave, linens, sheets,
towels. All you need to bring is your clothes. Also has TV with

4-Wheeling is quickly becoming a popular activity. There's many trails
fhrough the forest that are marked and approved for atving. Be sure
that your 4-wheeler is licensed correctly. Golf carts are also
welcome. The small community makes these nice for visiting neighbors.
If you are coming to Lake City for the Olustee Battlefield
Reenactment, the yearly show by the Thunderbirds, Super Bowl, great
hiking, camping, horseback riding, it's 1 hour to Jacksonville and
less than 40 miles from the Gator Bowl (NFL Football), 25 minutes –

Like to fish? It sits within minutes of several lakes that are great
for fishing. There's also two ponds within a five minutes hike, and I
furnish the cane poles. YOu just have to dig your worms. Like to hike,
bird-watch, or just explore the forest?
Check out our "Things to do page." You'll see that historical trails
wind all through the forest right behind the cabin. Ocean Pond is
minutes away, a great place for swimming, skiing and fishing. Olustee
Battlefield, where one of the most renown battles of the Civil War is
also minutes away and offers a well known reenactment every February
that people come from all over for.
From my reading corner, have coffee, watch the sunrise and watch for
regular visitors from the forest, including deer, rabbit, raccoon,
hawks, egret and more.
