Vacation Rental Description

     The Coconut Palms Beach House is located on the shoreline of a 
very picturesque and secluded, six-mile beach on the quiet island of 
South Andros. Our two-bedroom, 2-bath home is the perfect choice for 
those wishing a quiet and peaceful getaway from the real world.
     Following a magically relaxing day on the beach, relax on your 
beachfront balcony with a cold beverage, be caressed by the cool 
ocean breezes, and absorb the panorama of swaying palms, turquoise 
water, and the white sandy beach at your doorstep.
     A two-minute taxi ride from the South Andros Island Airport 
brings you to the Coconut Palms Beach House. The home has an extra 
large living, dining, and kitchen area and a wonderfully wide 
balcony overlooking the ocean and providing a world class spot to 
enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner each day.
     The home is fully furnished and equipped with all necessary 
utensils and linens and convenience stores for purchasing food are 
minutes away. Bicycles and 2-person ocean kayaks are included for 
your enjoyment as well. 
     Days can be spent relaxing on the beach, snorkeling over nearby 
reefs, exploring the wonderful island of South Andros, or, for those 
wishing to challenge the island's elusive bonefish, we will happily 
arrange a guide and flats boat for as many days as you wish. Scuba 
diving trips can be arranged offering some of the best diving in 
this hemisphere and just minutes from shore.Additionally, private 
tours are available to assist you in seeing all the magic that is 
South Andros Island.
     You may dine in your home or enjoy delicious Bahamian 
cuisine at one of several very affordable ($10 dinner!) restaurants 
just minutes from your doorstep. If a quiet evening at home is 
preferred and you do not wish to cook, consider a full-course dinner 
prepared for you tableside on your balcony by one of the island's 
finest chefs...our caretaker, Wendy Dean!
     South Andros Island is easily accessible with two, 15-minute 
flights provided daily on Western Air from Nassau.
