Comfy Akumal Condo with Beautiful View - Mi Casa del Mar A1 in Akumal

We still have Dec. 29th to Jan 16 and Feb 11-25th available (I don't update my calendar) This spacious, beautiful and comfy 2 bedroom condo, with dramatic views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, is located between Akumal Bay and Half Moon Bay, in beautiful Akumal, Mexico. An easy one-hour drive south of the Cancun airport will get you to one of the world's most beautiful vacation locations with an enchanting view. Mi Casa del Mar is ideally located between two near-by beaches:
Akumal Bay - a fabulous swimming and snorkeling beach with beautiful soft, white sand near the town of Akumal with great restuarants, food stores and cute little shops, - and Half Moon Bay, a snorkeling bay with coral reefs, a great beach restaurant, and dive shop. Both beaches are within five minutes easy walking distance (one-third of a mile).
This condo (A-1) is on the ground floor so simply walk out of the patio doors and you are at the fabulous pool, overlooking the Carribean. This freshly decorated, spacious condo accommodates 6 and features: a master bedroom with AC and king size bed and bathroom; a second bedroom with AC and king size bed; second full bathroom; living room which, by night, accomodates 2 or more adults on convertable sofas or on a fold-out futon couch; dining area leading out to the terraza close to the pool; and a kitchen with service for 8, a microwave and a large toaster oven.
Our condo is ideal for couples or families.
Akumal is a quiet retreat located in the Mayan Riviera and is famous
for snorkeling (Yal Ku Lagoon), excellent scuba diving
and many other activities. It has ideal proximity to the ancient
Mayan ruins of Tulum and Coba, eco water parks Xel Ha and Xcaret,
breath-taking cenotes (water caves), and world famous Playa del
Carmen, the ultimate nightlife and shopping town, and many fabulous
beaches. The area is ecologically protected and famous for its sea
turtle nesting grounds. (Akumal means "place of the turtle").
Mi Casa del Mar is close to the town that offers many activities,
shops and restaurants. Food and amenities can also conveniently be
purchased in Akumal. Internet and international phone service
available from the cyber-shop for a small fee. Be active and
explore, or spend your vacation relaxing on a beach or relaxing next
to the pool as part of the beautiful view at Mi Casa del Mar.

Beautiful Pool, Lawn Chairs, and two Hamacas to hang inside or
outside. Air Conditioning in Two Bedrooms which each feature King
Sized Beds, Two Full Baths, Satellite TV, Internet by Wifi and ethernet cable (!) with DVD and CD player, small movie and music library. A porta-crib, stroller and high chair are available. Gentle ocean breeze keeps the interior comfortable. Living area includes two convertable sofa couches in a spacious area with Mexican tile floors and a newly added futon couch. The futon and round dining table (seats six) can be moved and arranged
to your liking. There is an outdoor dining table on the patio.
Full kitchen, microwave, extra large toaster oven, refrigerator,
cooking utensils and purified water provided, dining service for 8,
daily maid (except Sundays), linens, soap and towels provided. Hair
dryer, extra pillows and beach towels available by request from the
maid. In-house laundry through maid service with extra tip. Pets
NOT allowed. Parking available. Home cooked meals featuring local
specialities can be prepared for you - in low season only or on caretakers day off - by arrangement with the caretakers one day in advance($8 USD/person plus cost of ngeredients) -

Swimming, snorkeling (lagoon or bay), diving, exploring, Mayan ruins (Tulum and Coba are close), cenotes (caves with underground pools), biking, fishing, turtle watches (summer), jungle tours, horseback riding, excellent dining or beach bar-restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, boating, windsurfing, massage, exercise gym, yoga, two grocery stores (also sell liquor), cyber Cafe with internet and
international phone calls are close by in Akumal.  One of our favorite beaches, X'caxel is four miles away and has nice waves for boogy boarding and body surfing.
