This Victorian 'high style' one bedroom, three room suite sits
within walking distance of the downtown historic shopping and dining
district and the Mystic River surrounded by nearly two park-like acres of
mature beech, fir trees and accent magnolias.
The emphasis is on comfort and that luxurious feeling of being
pampered and 'spoiled' (one big warm hug).

The exceptionally large parlor/living room/dining area features the
original walnut fireplace and yards of rich magnificent custom curtain
details, and period furnishings.

The addition of a comfy queen-sofa-bed in the front bay allows for the
accommodation of one or two additional travelers, one or two couples,
or parents with 'time away' or with their children.
Moreover, the glorious parlor makes the perfect setting for your
meetings or small conference, while staying there.

The suite is fully air-conditioned for our summer guests.

The suite is lavishly decorated in the 'period'. The mahogany
woodwork and patterned parquet floors are exceptional as well as
added 'custom touches' throughout this unique hideaway.

It boasts 15 foot ceilings, and features an architect designed chef's
service/convenience/full kitchen whose updated corian counters,
'gallery' track lighting and black walnut Victorian cupboards are
characteristic of the owner's successful mix of old and new.

The designer's brush prevails in the bathroom with stained glass
window accents and rain massage shower. The glorious
bedroom is home to an authentic 1850's mahogany 'sleigh bed'.

In summer, enjoy the refreshing waters of our full size swimming pool
(off site, at our other property located at the beginning of the Mystic
River) surrounded by lush perennial gardens.
