Vacation Rental Description

Legend's beautiful and welcoming clubhouse sits next to a  
magnificent swimming pool with water falls and jacuzzi, overlooked  
by a complete fitness center. Adjoining the clubhouse and its  
wonderful restaurant is the tennis Pro shop and its first-class Har- 
Tru tennis courts, with teaching pros and clinics. 
 
For the golfer, an 18-hole championship golf course is manned by a  
superb golf staff. Complimentary balls are supplied at the driving  
range with its island targets. One side of the driving range is a  
practice putting surface and the other side is a practice green with  
sand traps. Greens and cart fees are included in the golf  
membership. A Chelsea computer system ensures that all tee times  
are available to all golfers! 
 
Wide sidewalks wind their way from the clubhouse through the  
community and 234 acres of preserves, usually bathed in warm  
Southwest Florida sun. A 1/4 mile walk from the clubhouse to the  
16th green will bring you to the back of our ground-floor condo. The  
cypress preserve is on the front side. 
 
Inside you will find a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo with a spacious and  
bright living room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, and lanai  
in the back. The main sofa is very comfortable and long enough to  
sleep an extra guest. Plenty of windows and light make this a great  
place to relax or entertain. The lanai sits along the approach area  
of the 16th hole, with a view of the 16th green. There is a screen  
door exit from the lanai where early birds will enjoy glorious  
sunrises. 
 
A 27" TV/DVD/VCR is available in an attractive entertainment center  
in the living area. Bring your music CDs to enjoy the stereo system  
while you stretch out on the long sofa. Entertain friends in the  
indoor dining area that comfortably seats 4-6 guests, or around the  
outdoor lanai table that seats 4.  
 
There is also a 20" TV/DVD in the master bedroom that has a super  
comfortable Queen bed. Twin beds are available in the guest room.  
All linens are supplied. There is a telephone in both bedrooms.  
Ceiling fans keep every room cool if you choose to turn off the  
central air conditioning.  
 
One covered parking spot is reserved per unit, with additional  
uncovered parking available for guests.

* Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva are all within a short 
  driving distance. Beautiful beaches and inspiring sunsets included. 
* Spring training will soon be in full "swing" for the Boston Red 
  Sox & the Minnesota Twins at nearby stadiums. 
* Edison & Ford estates are open for tours year round. 
* 6-mile Cypress Slough is an awesome nature area approximately 3 
  miles away from Legends. It offers guided tours at 9:30 every 
  morning. Although the self-guided boardwalk winds through lovely 
  areas, the tour provides invaluable information to the outdoor  
  education enthusiast.  
* The Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium is a short drive north of 
  the Slough. Younger children enjoy this. 
* The Randell Research Center is operated by the FL Museum of  
  Natural History at the Pineland Site complex and serves as an 
  extension of their Archaeology and Education project. Visitors 
  here learn about the history of various environments and cultures 
  that lived, loved and fought along Florida's Southern coasts.
