Riverfront Cottage with Private Dock in Carrabelle

This is a delightful riverfront cottage. It has a deep water slip
that will accommodate 2 large boats. The views from the cottage and
dock are wonderful. Use the dock not just for your boat, but also,
fishing, viewing, picnicking, and sunning. The cottage has three
bedrooms, each with sliding glass doors leading to either a private
balcony or large open deck. The cottage has all the amenities for
your visit. Even beach towels and beach chairs. The Carrabelle
Beach with its white sand is just a mile or so from the cottage.
St. George Island beaches are 20 minutes away.
Nature abounds in our area. Almost 70% of the land is either State
or National Parks, forests, and estuaries. Wildlife is abundunt.
There are thousands of species of birds to monitor. Fishing is the
best. Whether it be off-shore for the big ones, bay or flats
fishing for the reds and trout, or fresh water in the Carrabelle,
New River, Crooked River, and Ochlocknee, we have it all.
Seafood is also abundunt. The famous "Apalachicola Bay Oysters" are
found here. Lots of shrimp, fish, blue crab, scallops, and
bulldozers (our version of the lobster native to our area).
Check out Apalachicola for shopping, dining, and history. It's
bustling waterfront is alive with great food, lots of artistic and
antique shops, historic homes, and seafood. You might checkout the
estuary lab while you're there. It's great for the whole family.

We have cable TV in living area and master bedroom. There are also
games for the family, dvd player, and radio.   Hi speed internet.
Cottage is furnished nicely and has a kitchen with refrigerator,
microwave, stove & oven, dishwasher, and all the small appliances
such as toaster, blender, coffee maker, juicer, and others. All
linens are provided. There is a queen bed in master bedroom with
sliding glass doors leading to large deck overlooking the river,
double bed in 2nd bedroom and private balcony overlooking the river,
and a twin & double bunk in third bedroom also with private balcony.
The living and dining area is very open offering good views to the
river.

shops along the waterfront and also, many beautiful historic homes
to visit. St. George Island is also 20 minutes away and offers one
of the top beaches in the world. There are 12 mile of beautiful
white sandy beaches in the state park and also boardwalks over the
dunes and through the woods to the beautiful Apalachicola Bay.
