Home is on almost an acre of land with an inground, heated gunnite
pool, perennial gardens, herb garden, wrap around porch etc. Interior
has a large kitchen and dining area with stainless appliances and
granite counters. Master bath has a walk in shower with body sprays,
whirlpool tub and small TV. Large original clawfoot tub in main
bathroom on second floor. Kitchen is fully stocked and includes herbs
and spices. Pool is cleaned daily and fresh flowers, herbs and garden
produce delivered to guests when available. Maps to area points of
interest in the home and concierge service for business needs,
cooking, drycleaning, shopping etc. available for additional fee.

Swimming in the heated pool, outdoor BBQ with seating for eight. Four
bikes available for use (two adult two children) as well as badminton,
croquet and other sports equipment. Wall mount flat panel 42" TV in
the living room and three other family room areas with TV's for
watching movies or playing games. Home is wired with a router and
wireless internet connections, two phone lines and a computer for
guest use. Town park is one block away, downtown Essex is a short walk
down the sidewalk. Mystic Seaport is less than 30 minutes from Essex
with an aquarium, and other town attractions. Essex also has many
nature trails and conservancy areas for hiking, kayaking and swimming.
Train rides to Boston and New York are as close as the Old Saybrook
train station only ten minutes from the house.

vacation rental rates

Summer season rates are $3200 per week. Summer begins June 15 and ends
August 15. Rates at other times of the year are negotiable.
