Vacation Rental Description

Luxury Cabin, Pool Table, Canoe, 2 sit-on-top kayaks, Antiques, 
Mountain artifacts. Easy access - 
closest to the BayArea - be in your cabin, not waiting on I80 with 
traffic. 2 mi from Sugarbowl. All the modern conveniences. 
Two bedrooms on main level w/queen beds (excellent mattresses) + bath + 
mid-size rollaway bed. One bedroom downstairs with queen futon, 
private bath, pool table, 46" DLP TV w/DVD. 3rd floor has Master 
Bedroom and 3rd bath + a loft (5th sleeping area w/double futon). 
LivingRoom has 37" LCD TV w/cable, DVD,VCR. Hand made (by us) log 
lamps, log side tables & headboards. Woodstove fireplace w/rock. 
Breakfast Granite Counter & Breakfast Bar and stainless appliances in 
kitchen. Front deck with grill (and backup propane tank).

Vacation Rental Amenities

Gas grill. Microwave, Coffee-maker, Blender, fully-equipped kitchen, 
mountain cabin dishware, washer/dryer,  dishwasher & stove, 
50-gal hot water heater, board games, chess, poker chips. Plenty of 
towels & linens. Canoe and 2 single-seat, sit-on-top kayaks kept at the 
beach for guest's use. In winter, snow dishes and sleds.

Activities and Attractions

Cabin 2 blocks from north end of the lake. 
 
New Ice Lakes Lodge (1/2 mi) for dinner or sunset drinks...a most 
incredible 
view! Walk around the lake (1.5 mi easy, flat, leisurely walk)... 
people actually out walking & talking... feels like a New England 
Village.  
Great shopping at Truckee Old Town. Unique, rustic goods. Reno 40 
minutes away for Casino shows & other activity (gambling maybe?). 
Hiking, Mountain biking for beginner, intermediate & advanced levels. 
So many trails; all are beautiful. Four wonderful lakes to hike or 
bike or drive to. Bythe Ice Lakes Lodge is the sand beach & swimming area. 
Canoe over or walk over. Vollyball sand court, restrooms, swimming 
area with old-time floating dock. Sunset at Serene Lakes can be a 
beautiful sight, especially from the Lodge or beach area or on a walk. 
The sunset coming across that lake is breathtaking. Also mountain 
climbing 4 mi away, beginner, intermediate, advanced. Golf & other 
activites throught the area. North Tahoe area is the "Best"!!
