Vacation Rental Description

This darling lakefront cottage is located right on Green Lake in 
Interlocheon. It has been fully renovated inside and out. New 
carpet, paint, kitchen, bath and new mattress in May 2005. The 
cottage can sleep 4-6 people. There is one bedroom on main floor 
with a large loft above. 
The view of the lake from the large windows in the living area is 
spectacular. The lake has a sand/gravel mix bottom and is clear and 
shallow in front of the cottage. It is very quiet for fishing and 
swimming. Enjoy a fireside sunset by the firepit located between the 
cottage and the lake. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

This cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans, 
microwave, coffee maker, and dishes. The mattresses and furniture 
are all new.

There is a dock, if you would like to bring a boat or personal 
watercraft. We also have a 12ft motor boat for a rental fee of 
$100.00 per week.

Please bring linens,towels,and drinking water.

SORRY, NO PETS or SMOKING. 

The cottage is not handicapped accessible.

Activities and Attractions

Green Lake covers 2063 acres and has a water depth of 102 feet. Fish 
include rainbow and brown trout, large and small mouth bass, perch, 
pike, and blue gill. Great smelt fishing during winter months.

Although, Green Lake is an all sports lake, it is very quiet.
Located 5 minuets from the Interlochen Center for the Arts, you can 
enjoy entertainment. Concerts are given daily by the international 
students and faculty. Check the Interlochen Center for the Arts 
music schedule for famous entertainer concert dates.
Interlocheon is just 20 minuets from Traverse City. Come for the 
Cherry Festival or one of the many art and boat shows. Walk the 
boardwalk downtown by the Boardman River. Enjoy a weekly Farmer's 
Market.

There are many fine resturants and a grocery store just down the 
street. Visit Old Mission peninsula where you can take a tasting 
tour of fine wines produced in the area.

Mountain bike on quiet trails and wooded lanes around the lake. Hike 
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore only a 40 minuet drive. There 
are also many golf courses nearby.

Mackinaw Island is only 2 hours away. 

Vacation Rental Rates

This Interlocheon/Traverse City Area getaway cottage is available 
for rent from May to August Rental rates are:
May $650 per week
June through August $850 per week

The following dates are currently available:
May 31 to June 7
June 7 to June 14
June 14 to June 21
July 19 to July 26
Interlochen Music Center is 5 minuets away as we are off Diamond 
Park Road.
