Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to the tropical, lush, windward side of Hawaii's Big Island. 
This is  true oceanfront with 180-degree ocean views. You can 
see all the way to Hilo and the top of Mauna Kea while sitting by 
your Solar heated in-ground pool. We do not have a beach directly in 
front of our home but we are within easy driving distance to several 
black sand beaches, well known geothermal hot ponds and World class 
snorkeling at the Kapoha Tide 
Pools.

It is a wonderful location to whale watch (December to April). At 
night you can hear the whales singing. Year round turtles, dolphins, 
and other marine life, plus cruise ships, passing by keep the view 
always interesting. Coffee on the lanai as you see the sun rise over 
the ocean is magical as the light dances on the ocean waves! 
Rainbows over the water and the evening colors are what we love so 
much and never tire of.

This rental is directly on the ocean with a private spacious unit in 
the downstairs of our large, new, two-story home. You have the lower 
level with the swimming pool directly outside your private spacious 
lanai and private entrance. There are two bedrooms, both with ocean 
views - one with a king-sized bed and the other with two twin beds. 
A fifth and sixth person could easily fit using the new queen-sized 
hide-a-bed (a really comfortable hide-a-bed too) The kitchen/lounge 
area includes a full-sized refrigerator, 
microwave, toaster, double hot plate, blender, fry pan, coffee 
maker, all utensils, and condiments. On the lanai is a lava rock 
barbecue. The bathroom is stocked with toiletries, towels, and 
linens. The washer and dryer is in the laundry room, next to the the 
kitchen and includes iron, ironing board, and laundry supplies. 

There are two TVs with satellite reception, one in the king-sized 
bedroom and the second in the lounge area. The lounge TV has a DVD 
player connected and we have a large selection of movies and 
documentaries. Off from the family area is a computer connected to a 
high-speed, DSL, wireless network so you can check your e-mail or 
browse the Internet at any time. You have a private phone line for 
your local calls with your own answering machine.

We can offer advice and directions to any of the wonderful things to 
see in this area. The volcano, hot ponds, black sand beaches, world-
class snorkeling, waterfalls, steam vents, and many other treasures 
of the area. If you just want to relax, a nap in the hammock 
listening to the ocean waves or a massage by the sea can be arranged.

We are convenient to Hilo airport and can send you maps via e-mail. 
There is shopping and restaurants in nearby Pahoa, Keauu, and Hilo.

Due to 30 foot cliffs overlooking the ocean and the corresponding 
danger - we do not recommend this rental for people with young 
children. 

Arrivals 3:00 PM or after. 10:00 AM departure unless other 
arrangements have been made.

Vacation Rental Rates

Nightly Rate .. $85-95 per night - $85 if 7 or more nights.
Payment must be by Check or Money Order. We do accept Credit/Debit 
cards through PayPal and will invoice you if you desire. There is an 
additional 3% fee for this service. That's what they charge us and 
we want to keep our rates low. 
$200 refundable damage deposit required on arrival.
$200 Payment to confirm reservation with balance due one month prior 
to arrival
Three night minimum stay
