Vacation Rental Description

“Sojourn” is a 5 bedroom, 4 ½ bath executive home with gorgeous
private pool and waterfall spa that sleeps 10-16 in an upscale
exclusive gated community. This family-friendly property is another
"Desert Luxury Vacations" home, and has met the high standards of
amenities and cleanliness that all houses from Desert Luxury Vacations
offer.

This 3,650 sq. ft. luxury home located in the La Quinta and Palm
Springs area has 5 total bedrooms…3 are suites with King beds and
private attached bathrooms; 1 bedroom has a Queen bed, and the other
bedroom has two XL (extra-length) Twin beds. Mattresses are premium
pillow-top for a comfortable nights’ rest. All 5 bedrooms have HDTV’s,
with DVD & VHS, telephone and ceiling fans with dimmer lights. The
couch in the Family room has a Queen sofa-bed. Also available are a
deluxe Queen raised-height Aero-bed, a twin-size rollaway bed, and a
Nursery set-up with crib and baby monitor.

The Sojourn home features brand new furnishings including super-soft
and comfortable leather couches in the Family Room, a wide screen (50
inch) High-definition Plasma HDTV, DVD, VHS, gas fireplace and sit
down seating inside the home for 17 people total: 8 in the formal
dining room; 6 in the breakfast nook; 3 at the kitchen bar counter.
Watch classic & current hit movies from the in-home movie library. Or
play video games (including Halo) until the wee hours on the X-box
Gaming System!

Everyone in your group will spend some quality time in the spacious
Sojourn Game Room! The competition will go on for hours at the
super-fast Air-Hockey table, the commercial quality Tornado Tournament
2000 Foosball table, (the same table used on the 2007 USTSA Pro
Foosball Tour), or the vintage “World Cup Soccer” pinball machine. Get
ready for hours of fun.

The incredible Master Suite has a private bath area with dual sinks
and vanity, an oversize custom tiled door-less shower & a soaking tub
with tile surround and steps. There are two extra-large walk-in
closets. One closet can be set up as an adjoining nursery with crib
and baby monitor. The other closet can be set up as a smaller
adjoining bedroom for a younger child with the available rollaway twin
bed. A French door leads out from the Master Suite to the pool/spa area.

The fabulous fully-equipped gourmet kitchen features slab granite
counters, a cooking grotto with 5-burner gas cooktop and pot-filler,
new refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, double-oven,
microwave, and butlers pantry. The morning room/nook adjoins the
kitchen and has a counter-height table that seats 6. 

Relax on the large back patio area around the private and heated 32’ x
19’ pool, with a tanning shelf/wading area for the smaller children, a
7’ raised spa with stackstone waterfall spillway, and Jandy in-home
controller that allows you to control all pool and spa functions from
inside the house, and gives you a digital read-out of the pool
temperature, the spa temperature and the outside air temperature. 

The attached Casita (bedroom #5) is as highly upgraded as the main
house, and features a large separate bedroom with a King bed for
maximum privacy, a ceiling fan with adjustable speeds & dimmer
lighting. There is an HD TV with DVD & VCR. The large front windows
look out to the enclosed courtyard and the Santa Rosa Mountains.

This truly one of a kind home is beautifully upgraded and finished
with custom paint, granite & tile work. This home sits on a large 1/3
acre interior lot with maximum privacy for outdoor entertaining,
dining, lounging and swimming. The dramatic night lighting comes on
automatically.

Other Sojourn amenities include telephone with free local and
unlimited long-distance calling, free high-speed wireless internet, a
fully-equipped laundry room with new washer & dryer, ironing board &
iron. The hot water re-circulating system gives you “instant-on” hot

Play” at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the Pacific Life
Open. There are a number of public courts nearby where you can also play.

in La Quinta area. Location does not get any better, near top golf
resorts in La Quinta, Indian Wells Tennis Gardens, La Quinta
Resort/Hotel, Old Town La Quinta, Empire Polo Fields, Horse Show
grounds & top casinos. Home has gorgeous private pool/spa, outdoor
fire-pit, pool table…not enough room to list all amenities. One of the
few larger homes NOT located on a golf course. This means peace, quiet
& privacy. 

Vacation Rental Rates

Posted rates & fees are a guide & are not accurate for all dates.
Rates higher for holiday & high demand dates - Email for current quotes.
Discounts available for weeknight & “Last-minute” bookings
10% City tax-$20/day+up pool fee. Cleaning $210-$320 based on group
Security deposit $1000-Checks OK-2.85% bankcard fee/$15 wire fee
30% is the required down payment to “book & hold” a reservation.
Non-refundable Pet Cleaning Fee: $200 per pet/per week.
Beyond 15 guests (including children of any age) surcharge of
$100/each. Monthly rentals do not pay tax but do pay utilities. Homes
are in quiet, private, upscale neighborhoods. They are not “party
houses”. 10pm-8am is “Quiet Time” within the gates of most developments

Book a 2, 3 or 4 night stay Monday through Friday, and get up to 30%
off!  2 night stay, 20% off; 3 night stay, 25% off; 4 night stay, 30%
off. “Last Minute” Special: A discount of up to 50% is available for
“Last-minute” bookings that are made 2-weeks or less from the check-in
date.  Last Minute booking of a 2 night stay, 40% off; 3 night stay,
45% off; 4 night stay, 50% off. We have many luxury homes, so there is
a good chance we will have a home available at a discount. The “Last
Minute” Special does not apply to holidays or other high demand dates.
Other discounts may be available for holidays or other high demand
dates in the 7 days before check-in, but not before. “Late-Late
Check-out” or “Early-early check-in” up to 7 extra hours for $150

CANCELLATION POLICY: Minimum 45 days notice required for 90% refund
(full refund less 10% processing fee). If cancellation is less than 45
days before Check-in, Owner will make attempt to re-book.  If
reservation is re-booked at same rate or better, refund of 90% of
funds paid.  If reservation cannot be rebooked, moneys paid may not be
returned.
