Panama City-Punta Paitilla in Panama City

Panama is one of the most beautiful and safest countries in Central
and South America. The temperature is typically 90 degrees all year
around and although the official language is Spanish, many Panama
residents speak English.

If you are a Rotarian, there are three Rotary clubs in the city
Jacqueline and Marc Kramer�s apartment is in Punta Paitilla, which
is one of the most exclusive areas in the country and is exactly 16
minute drive from Tocumen International Airport.

Description of Living Quarters

There is a view of either the ocean or skyline from every room in
the apartment. The following is a description of the living
quarters, which approximately 1,900 square feet.

Rules

We expect our guests to take care of our apartment as if it were
there own. We have five simple rules that renters must follow:

No smoking in our apartment.
No more than six people sleeping in the condo.
Families live in the building so please do not make a lot of noise.
Please purchase your own toiletries (soap, toilet paper, etc).
Only local calls are free.
Please wash and put away all sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, pots,
pans and glasses before you leave.

Activities

In our apartment is a book that tells you about various activities
to do in Panama, where they are located and contact information. A
good place to look for current and future activities is the
country's leading newspaper, La Prensa. The following is a
list of activities.

Beaches-There is an island that is a 30 minute ride by boat from
Panama City called Taboga and beaches an hour outside the city in
San Carolos.

Movie Theaters-Children's movies are in Spanish and adult movies are
in English with Spanish subtitles. The entire first run movies found
in the US is found in Panama. The price of movie tickets ranges from
$2 to $3.25.

Museums-History and art museums. The Panama Canal Museum is very
well done.

Restaurants-Every type of food at every price level is served and
there are many 5-star restaurants. The average price for five-star
entr�e is approximately $15.

Sporting Events-There is professional baseball, basketball, boxing
and soccer.

Shopping-There is high end, medium and low price shopping.

Water parks-There is two excellent water parks within 30 minutes of
our apartment that cost $10 per person.

Water Sports-Scuba diving and deep sea fishing.

Yacht Clubs-There are two yacht clubs.

Rental Fees
$150/night .. $1000/week (7 days 6 nights) .. $2300/month (30 days 29
nights)
$100 security deposit


The deposit is refunded if given two months advance notice or if the
renter has an illness or death in the family that prevents the
renter from coming to Panama.

If the renter decides to cancel a month or less before the agreement
takes place, renter will have the choice of selecting another time
to come or waiting until the owner finds a replacement.

Maid Service

If you would like to have a maid cook, clean and do laundry for you
the cost is $10 per day. The maids only speak
Spanish.
