Lakefront Cabin on Serene Lakes in Donner Lake

This cabin is located directly on Serene Lakes. In the summer you
walk out the back door to go canoeing and in the winter you can ski
off the deck to the frozen lake. Sugar Bowl is only 5 miles away and
offers some Tahoe's best downhill skiing. The cabin is surrounded
by Royal Gorge, which is one the largest cross-country skiing areas in
the world. In the summer, the canoeing, hiking and mountain biking is
outstanding.

The cabin is just down the street from Ice Lakes Lodge. You can
either walk or canoe to the Lodge for lunch, dinner or an afternoon drink.

In the summer, we fish every night from canoes that we launch from our beach.  During the day, we swim in the lake, kayak and hike in the miles of open space behind the cabin.  If you look on the map, you'll see that we have mile and miles of open space around the lakes.  It is also wonderful for mountain biking.  We love to ski in the winter.  You can ski out the back door on the lake or out the front door in Royal Gorge.  We can also drive 5 minutes to Sugar Bowl, which is one of California's top downhill resorts.

This cabin sleeps 15 and the bottom floor has a second small kitchen, living room and dining room.  We can provide a PDF of the floorplan, so please ask.
