utmost in charm, and its location on a courtyard provides solace in the midst of the
exciting, high energy Marais district just outside your door. Light pours through the
large windows making the apartment bright and cheerful, and the recent renovation
includes double insulated windows to buffer any sounds from the streets. The apartment
is completely renovated with modern appliances and fixtures. The high ceilings are
set off by the beautiful, original wooden beams that add character to
the apartment. These eighteenth century beams are real and support the roof of the
building. Make sure you look for the carvings in the beams and the original wooden

You are only blocks from such well known sights as Notre Dame, Hotel
de Ville, Pompidou Center, Picasso Museum, Musée Carnavalet, Place
des Vosges, Victor Hugo Museum, the Bastille and Hotel de Sully. In
four short blocks you are sitting on the banks of the Seine to watch
a sunset. As a district which was built to house the nobility of the
royal court of France, the architecture of the "hotels particuliers"
(private mansions) is breathtaking. These structures stand in juxtaposition
with exciting boutiques, art galleries, cafes, bars and restaurants. As the
most "in" section in Paris, don't be surprised to find journalists,
models, photographers and celebrities rubbing elbows with you as you
stroll through the quartier.
The apartment is located on one of the "hottest" streets of the
Marais, rue Vieille du Temple, and two metro stops are only blocks
from the front door. Only a few blocks to the north is the metro
Hotel de Ville and a few blocks to the south is metro St. Paul. You
will not find a more CENTRAL Marais location.
