The Abigail Adams Apartments are located just one block from the beach in the historic James Leaming House on Decatur Street, one of the oldest and prettiest streets in Cape May. This beautiful Victorian house was built in 1895 in the Queen Anne style complete with fishscale shingle details and a dramatic third floor turret.
The two apartments are located at the quiet rear section of the house, each with their own private entrances and are both decorated in bright and cheery country Victorian furnishings and pastel colors.
The Garden Apartment is located on the first floor and has one large, bright bedroom with a queen bed, a living room, decorated in soft gold and blue, with a comfortable double sofabed, a brand new open plan galley kitchen and a bath with shower. It opens out to the lovely shaded flower
garden.
The Leaming Suite on the second floor has a bedroom/living room combination with a queen bed and double sofabed, a newly renovated, beautifully tiled bath with tub/shower and a cozy eat-in kitchen.
Guests share the use of the lovely, shaded garden in the back. It has a grill for barbecuing and outdoor tables and chairs for dining al fresco under the shade trees.

Both the Garden Apartment and the Leaming Suite have private entrances, off site parking, cable TV,
DVD's, air-conditionning and wireless internet access.
Both kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, coffee pots, dishes,
cutlery and pots and pans.
Linens are not normally provided for weekly stays but can be provided at an extra cost. Linens are however provided for weekend stays during the low season.

Cape May offers a wide variety of activities including swimming, surfing, historic house tours, great shopping and some of the best restaurants on the East Coast.
The Abigail Adams Apartments are located just a few feet from the colorful center of town, the Washington Street Mall. Unusual shops, outdoor cafes, home made fudge and ice cream are just some of the great things you'll find on the "Mall".
In the other direction, we are just one and a half blocks from the nicest beaches in Cape May. Two miles of promenade (what we call our boardwalk!) run along the beach and offer great exercise, a great place to see and be seen or a perfect vantage point to sit and read the morning paper or watch the dolphins just beyond the surf following their dinner as it makes its way up the coast.

June/September - Garden Apartment $1250/wk*, Leaming Suite $1050/wk*
October-May - $850-$1050/wk*

Nightly rates range from $85 to $185 per night depending on season.

Off season, the apartments are also available either on a weekly or
daily basis. Rates are quite reasonable and depend on season
desired.
