Our two bedroom, two bathroom villa is on one of the top floors and
overlooks pristine salt water marshes and the beautiful Atlantic
Ocean. When you step out onto our balcony you will experience some
of the most amazing, breathtaking views you have ever seen.
Our condos have been recently updated and include many extras along
with the standard features you are accustomed to. There is crown
molding throughout, a stone countertop, Pergo floors, as well as
many additional extras too numerous to mention here.
All of our amenities are just steps away from our condo door. If you
want to swim, the pools are just downstairs or down the elevator and the ocean is a boardwalk away. For a quick lunch or just to purchase suntan lotion,
come visit our restaurant/convenience store, right next to the pool.
If golfing or tennis is your thing, our condo is right next door to a
top rated Robert Trent Jones Golf Course and we have 6 lighted hard
courts onsite. The bike paths are right in front with many miles of
winding trails to explore. How about nature? The tidal river system,
salt water marsh, and ocean are right outside the balcony.

This property is okay. Very small. Needs a thorough cleaning. Refrigerator broke on us and it took a day to replace. No phone call from rental agency, just a text message to my husband. It does have an ocean view...with a telescope and is a 5 to 10 walk to beach...not just steps. A little steep for the price. The screen porch doesn't let a breeze in, but it does keep the bugs out.

Overall, I wasn't impressed with this rental. To pay $85 for a cleaning fee and find toenail clippings on the floor and hair in the tub is really disgusting. Plus, the cleaning crew let their selves into our room before check out!!!

Recommended for: age 55+

I will try to be positive and list the good things first--location on the island was nice, the pool was nice, the tennis courts were nice and it was nice to be able to reach beach by boardwalk rather than shuttle like many other resorts must do. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a really NICE place to stay, the pix on the computer will fool you. The description also mentions all the upgrades and amenities. Well, not one of them stood out to me??? So, where do I start? It was very small with hardly any place to even put your suitcases. Rules said not to use balconies for beach/pool items but there would be absolutely no place to store them otherwise. The bed sheets did not stay on the bed, only had a 1/2 measuring cup in the place, dishwasher leaked and I believe fridge was leaking inside as well. Bird poo was all over one side of balcony which I thought was unacceptable. The bedroom door in kids room was so squeaky that anytime in or out and they all woke, dining table light only turned on like a night light and the only other lamp in living area didn't work because of the outlet. Therefore, it was pitch dark in approx. half of the condo. As I mentioned, there were those few positves, but all in all, I would have preferred much better accomodations.

Owners response: I am sorry you were not completely satisfied with your accommodations. I wish you would have contacted us and most of these issues could have been handled quickly since we have onsite maintenance personnel.

This is an 850 square foot 2BR condo--guests with a normal amount of luggage shouldn't have a problem, but I guess it depends on how heavy you travel. The rule for not storing items on the balconies is a Resort rule and it is in place for aesthetics purposes.

We try to leave a stock of light bulbs in the unit in case they go out, but we are also glad to have maintenance come by for those types of issues as well. I suspect there is a wall switch that needed to be flipped on to the correct setting for the lamp to work. This could have been easily solved with a phone call, text or email.

I will definitely talk to the owner of the cleaning company about the bed sheet that did not stay on the bed..perhaps they accidentally brought a fitted sheet for a full bed instead of a queen. Again, we could have gotten the cleaning company over quickly to get proper sheets on the bed, had we been contacted.

As for the bird droppings, the balcony is outdoors and occasionally you are going to see evidence that birds have visited. It is an unfortunate part of nature.

You can't please all people all of the time, but the VAST majority of our guests are extremely satisfied with this villa.. it is in a great location, offers awesome views from the private balcony and is an incredible value for the money. It has brand new high-quality carpeting in the bedrooms and a brand new large flat screen television. I have great written reviews on this unit that people have sent, if anyone would like to see them.
