In addition to spectacular views, 3 1/2 floors of luxurious living 
and a private heated pool 
with hot tub, 2008 will see the addition of a multi-purpose sport 
court.  Your family will 
be hard pressed to leave the house with this addition.  The court 
will have two basketball goals, a multi-use net for 
volleyball, badminton and paddle tennis and a special area for tots 
including a tot-sized basketball goal.

The Location:
Conscience Point sits on perhaps the thinnest stretch of developed 
land on the Outer Banks. Just over a quarter mile wide from Ocean to 
Sound, you will have unprecedented views of the ocean and the sound. 
Home to some of the best fishing and water sports on the Atlantic 
Coast, you'll be in heaven on the nearby pier or while your kite 
surfing. Rodanthe is one of the view towns reminiscent of what the 
Outer Banks used to be. Away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds 
of the northern beaches, Conscience Point is truly a getaway. 

Conscience Point is centrally located to the northern beaches and to 
the lower areas, being just 30 minutes south of Bodie Island 
Lighthouse and 30 minutes north of Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

All of your needs are just a stone's throw away at Conscience Point. 
The very best grocery store, the Village Grocery, in the entire Outer 
Banks is just 15 minutes to the south. There you will find world 
class steaks, chicken and seafood as well as fresh meats for lunches.

For the souvenir collector, there are a couple of small boutique 
souvenir shops across the street from Conscience Point. You will be 
able to do all of your souvenir shopping without ever getting in your 
car.

During the summer months, there is a chain souvenir shop down the 
street and a go-cart park a few minutes south of Conscience Point.

you will receive our free quarterly newsletter. This will keep you up 
to date on developments to the house and the area in general and will 
hopefully get you excited for your trip. You will also be eligible to 
send in select photographs of your trip which will be placed on our 
website.

Activities and Attractions

The Estates at Hatteras Island Island Resort is a new, upscale resort 
of luxury homes located in the fishing village of Rodanthe. This 
exquisite community is set along the Atlantic Ocean in a tropical 
setting with a Caribbean flair. The estates are located on one of the 
narrowest sections of the south beaches and every home has ocean and 
sound views. This unique location allows access to wide, soft beaches 
and some of the best windsurfing on the east coast. 

The sidewalks through the center of the resort take you to the beach 
and fishing pier. When you are ready to shop or visit your favorite 
restaurant, you're just minutes away from all that Rodanthe, Waves 
and Salvo villages have to offer.
