vacation rental description
Once a family farmhouse, now a completely renovated vacation rental
home. Come get away from it all to the quiet Tennessee countryside,
while enjoying all the comforts of home.
As our guest, you'll be equipped for a self-sufficient stay. The
house has a full kitchen will all utensils, and all bed and bath
linens are provided. There's even a washer and drier for your use.
It has the charm of a 75-year-old farmhouse, but the CastAway has
been completely renovated and updated with modern comforts and
conveniences. The kitchen, bedrooms, and baths have all been
completely renovated and you can be assured of a clean, tasteful
home.
The master suite has two queen-size beds, vaulted ceiling with
ceiling fan, TV, and private bath. The second bedroom has two twin
beds. The living room has two couches that each make a queen-size
bed.
The private deck with porch swing is the perfect place to relax in
the evening. You will love the view of rolling pastures and Holston
Mountain in the distance.
If you are interested in fishing, we have the vacation for you. As
our guest you will enjoy the use of our 2000+ feet of river frontage
on the South Holston River, one of the premier tailwater trout
fisheries in the Southeast. It is an easy walk right to the river’s
edge, at a location where pioneers once forded in wagons. And after
the fishing is done for the day, relax in our peaceful country
setting, and trade stories about the ones that did not get away.
Email us for a link to our website with many more pictures of the
property and a listing of area sights and activities.
We are centrally located in the Tri-Cities region of Upper East
Tennessee. While you will be staying in the quiet countryside, you
are an easy 20-minute drive from great dining spots, historic
sightseeing, shopping, and evening entertainment.
We do not allow smoking in the house (outside is fine) and we do not
allow pets. This is for the comfort of future guests.
