Vacation Rental Description

This is an extremely nice north woods style cottage, which has been 
named The Looney Bin. It is located on Three Mile Pond in the China 
Lakes Region and is secluded in a wilderness setting.  Sleeping 
accommodations are a master bedroom with queen-size bed with three 
large windows facing the lake. Guest room with double bed (bed linens 
included). 
 
Kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, cookware, dishes, gas stove, 
refrigerator, and an assortment of counter appliances. 

Outside there are two decks and a covered open-air porch with lounge 
chairs and a charcoal barbecue. 100 feet away is a tent site with 
fire ring and picnic table.  A canoe is included.
There is a dock at the shore and the cottage is on 800 feet of its 
own shoreline. There are several logging roads available for biking 
or walks in the woods. This area is abundant with wildlife such as 
deer, moose, fox, beaver, raccoons, skunks, porcupines, otter, flocks 
of wild turkeys, and other birds including bald eagles, loons, hawks, 
great blue heron and an occasional bear! 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Satellite TV, Full Kitchen, Microwave, Refrigerator, Cooking 
utensils, Linens, Charcoal Grill (BBQ). Some pets may be allowed. 
Well-behaved, groomed pets that sleep in their own bed or kennel, 
will be considered. Inquire for more information regarding bringing a 
pet. The Looney Bin is not child proof!
A canoe is included.  Kayak rentals are available.

Activities and Attractions

From this location you can take a variety of day trips to coastal 
Maine. Some of the more popular day trips are to Camden, Rockport, 
Rockland, Lincolnville, Belfast, Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, and 
ferry to coastal islands. Activities from these locations include 
beaches and swimming, Reed State Park, Popham Beach, Lincolnville 
Beach, Camden Hills State Park, Owls Head Museum, Farnsworth Museum, 
sailing, deep sea fishing, and excellent dining at Fisherman's Wharf, 
The Lobster Pound and many others.

Fitness Center, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Shopping, Restaurants,

Weekend rates $295 to $395 (3 nights)
