We have great rates that make it easy for you to get away and enjoy a little relaxation. Cut your costs even more by making use of the fully-equipped kitchen and enjoying all the fabulous on-site amenities, sparkling pools and the beautiful beach.

We have a spacious one-bedroom condo across the street from the beach in the Sea Woods resort. This is a ground-floor unit with easy access--no stairs! The unit is large, clean and very comfortable. It is completely equipped with everything you need: Full kitchen with dishes and cookware, central AC, two TVs, DVD, VCR, washer/dryer and now high speed internet access via wireless or ethernet cable. The unit enjoys a pleasant screen porch with access from the bedroom and the living room. There is a dressing area with sink, counter and lighted mirror between the bedroom and bathroom. Furnishings include two recliners and a comfy couch, but the couch does not pull out into a bed. Instead, a spare twin mattress in the closet can be pulled out for extra sleeping arrangements and there is a small cot stashed under the bed, too.

Everything you need is here. Just bring sunscreen.

Nice beach walkovers right across the street make beach access easy!

The Sea Woods complex is big, but our condo is right at the entrance so the beach is an easy walk across the street and over the boardwalk. There are no cars on this end of the beach and hardly any people, so it is wonderfully serene. But, if you like a little more action, you can head north to one of the public beaches where driving is allowed. The Sea Woods resort itself has over 50 acres lushly planted and shaded by oak trees bent by sea winds. It is beautifully maintained with lots of paved bike and jogging trails, three pools, four lighted tennis courts, racquetball/handball courts, fitness center, club house, and friendly neighbors.

Our favorite casual restaurants are Mi Mexico, Manny's and Ocean's Seafood. Ocean's Seafood (near Publix) is a combined restaurant and seafood market so it's a great stop whether you are cooking in or eating out. All three are affordable, casual and comfortable for a family. Beacon Cinema (multi-plex with 12 screens) is not far away on Dixie Hwy. With a little exploration you'll find your own favorite spots as well.

New Smyrna Beach has a really fun downtown with plenty of surf shops, art stores and great restaurants. Sea Woods is just north of the local landmark, JB's Fish Camp, a great place to eat dinner or launch for a day of fishing in the estuary. Surfing, sailing, beach combing, or surf fishing in the Atlantic are all wonderful ways to enjoy the beach. Or just close your eyes and listen to the waves.

Exciting day trips abound. How about Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, Sugar Mill Ruins, Kennedy Space Center, Daytona International Speedway, or St. Augustine? Disney, Universal, and Sea World are only a little more than an hour away. State parks and wildlife refuges are nearby, as well.

• Short-Stay Getaway:
  $165 plus cleaning, tax and handling for a total of $284.38
  for a short 4-day, 3-night stay
• $200 refundable security deposit required in addition to rent.
  Stays longer than one week still pay only one cleaning fee.
