Anna Maria Island and beaches are situated just 25 minutes by car, is 7 miles long with free public trolley bus
running up and down to view only single storey houses painted in all bright colours. Why not driveacross to
the next island of Longboat Key and continue down to St Armands Circle for up market shopping and coffee
shops before returning over the causeway into cultural downtown Sarasota.
For further exploring continue South to Siesta Key where you will discover glistening white sand from which
you can wade into clear blue sea and view friendly Ray Fish and Dolphins.
Mayakka State Park is an ideal nearby attraction for those nature watchers, enjoy alligators and other wild
animals from organised picnic areas or guided boat tours.
There are many fabulous local places to shop and eat just 5 minutes away from the Villa, these
include Applebees and Gekos restaurant/pub and a Publix Supermarket as well as other fast food outlets including McDonalds!. For the more serious shoppers a short drive away you will find a choice of two
Wal-Marts Stores, the De-Soto Mall and Ellenton Prime Outlet for the ultimate in low prices.
Its a Golfers Paradise with many championship courses within a short drive.
