Vacation Rental Description

Our exceptionally beautiful beach house is in a highly preferred 
location - only 200 yards to the beach, next door to a 
beautiful swimming pool, and in an awesome neighborhood near Seaside. 
From our house to downtown Seaside it is a 0.9 mile walk on the beach 
or an easy 5 minute bike ride.  At our beach house, "Muriel's Grove," 
you can have all the amenities of Seaside but at considerably less 
cost.  Just park you car and forget it - everything you will need 
for an exceptional family vacation is within walking or biking 
distance.

Our house is located in the very popular "Grove by the Sea" 
neighborhood, which is a quiet and relaxing community of lovely 
seaside homes that are nestled amoung pine and magnolia trees, with 
two swimming pools, a tennis court, and walking/biking paths. 

The beautiful white sand beaches in this area, rated "America's Most 
Beautiful," are bordered by high sand dunes and the warm water is 
emerald green.  

Decorated in light, bright colors with a beach cottage theme, the 
house is beautifully furnished.  There are hardwood floors throughout 
and all the rooms have French doors that open to decks and the 
tropical paradise outside.  Plantation shutters on the windows 
provide a wonderful sense of southern charm.  Muriel's Grove is a 
special house that you will simply fall in love with.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining area has seating for 
11.  On the first floor, there is one bedroom (two twin beds) and a 
queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room.  Upstairs are two 
bedrooms (king bed, queen bed), and a studio room (full sized futon) 
that can be used as a bonus sleeping area if needed.

Safe, off road trails and sidewalks (perfect for walking, jogging, 
rollerblading, and biking) provide easy access to the many wonderful 
nearby recreational areas.  Grayton beach (4 miles), Grayton Beach 
State Park (2.5 miles), Point Washington State Forest (1.5 miles), 
Deer Lake State Park (3.3 miles), and Camp Creek Golf Club (5 miles) 
are just minutes away.  You will love the many colorful homes, small 
shops, and restaurants in the nearby town of Seaside.  Throughout the 
year you can enjoy the many scheduled free events that Seaside has to 
offer.

Early risers can enjoy spectacular sunrises and the wide open spaces 
at the beach.  Better yet, change the routine - sleep in, open the 
French doors and listen to the birds outside.  After a late 
breakfast, build sandcastles and swim with the kids or take a 
leisurely walk on the beach to Seaside.  Enjoy lunch outside on our 
picnic table in the woods, then take a nap in our hammock beneath the 
pine and magnolia trees next to the pool.

You won't want to miss the fabulous sunsets either!  In the evenings 
you can grill fresh seafood outside on the gas grill or just cook 
spaghetti for the kids.  Enjoy dinner with your entire group seated 
at our large dining table as you share memories from the day.  After 
dinner walk or bike to Seaside and treat everyone to ice cream... or 
take a dip in the pool, and then relax on the wraparound decks under 
fans while listening to the sounds of the surf.  Later yet, go to the 
beach, lie on your back and look at the crystal clear sky and stars.
