This is a beautiful retreat with things to do for everyone!
If you want to spend your time in the mountains, there is 9 acres of
beautiful nature with babbling creek and wild flowers. You can fish
steps away from your porch on the noisy Fightingtown Creek. You can
spend sunny days in the in-ground pool. You can read book in the
hammock or swings right next to the water. Or watch butterflies dance
from the rocking chairs on your porch. Or play cards in the sun room.
Just hiking around the cabin is a pleasure any time of the year.
There are also books of all sorts, movies to watch and board games to
play!
We have toys for kids of every age, just tell us how old are your
kids
and we will help you to keep them busy! Mention that there is a baby,
you will have high chair, play mat and other items suitable for your
little one.
This is a large cabin and we welcome you to come with your family
only
or take grandparents or friends.
Our beautiful retreat is only 4 miles from downtown Blue Ridge and 6
miles from the Blue Ridge Lake.
It's a very short proximity from all the activities the area has to
offer: tubing, water rafting, horse riding, bicycle trails, fishing,
State Parks and so much more. We will provide you with booklet of
directions to all these nice places.

For small family of 3 or 4, parents get a bedroom and kids can have
separate bedrooms. Also kids will have toys appropriate for their
age.
If you are traveling with the baby, let us know, we will provide you
with crib, high chair, stroller and some other things you might need.

take a horse driven carriage ride.
Southern Living Magazine has called Mercier Orchards its "favorite
roadside market." You are guaranteed to find the best assortment of
north Georgia apples and the best fried apple pie anywhere. For
another farm experience, visit Sugar Creek Farm and Inn and see the
Suri Alpacas. You can also see the Alpaca wool spun into yarn at
Georgia Mountain Fiber at Hampton Square.
To learn more about the mining history of the Copper Basin, visit the
Burra Burra Mine and Museum in Ducktown, Tenn. Last, but not least,
visit the Ocoee Whitewater Center, site of the 1996 U.S. Olympic
Canoe/Kayak/Slalom events.
