Museum, Downtowns Gourmet restaurants, cafes, galleries and shops.
Just a short stroll down to Children’s beach, overlooking Nantucket
harbor. walk around the corner to get on the Nantucket Bus which
takes you to all points on the Island.
This 9-bedroom home (previously a Historic bed and breakfast) now
called the HaPenny House, with baths en-suite is tastefully
decorated and furnished with period antiques, as you would expect in
a beautiful historic, Nantucket home. All the bedrooms have cable
ready TV’s and room air conditioners and private baths.Our 1790
Antique home is freshly painted and features wide-planked
floorboards with original wood beams and period detail. A perfect
accommodation for large wedding groups, corporate getaways, family
reunions.
The house sleeps 22 people comfortably greatfor Family reunions and
other special Nantucket Events. All the bedding and lines are new.
The Second Floor offers 5 bedrooms, one King size Antique Canopy
bedroom with fireplace, one full size bed. , One Queen size bed and
single bed in the same suite, great for parents with a child. One
Queen size Bedroom with a fireplace and one room with four-poster
twin beds. All of these rooms have bathrooms en-suite. The Third
floor has 3 bedrooms all with baths, one king size bed with peeks of
the harbor. One room with twin beds and one room with a full
size bed. The house also has a separate suite, which has one
bedroom with a private full bath and Queen size bed, downstairs there
is a large living area with a queen size pull out couch, full bath
and mini kitchen. New Gourmet Kitchen features a center island with
gas cooktop seats 6 peolple new appliances gas stove, 48" subzero
dishwasher all new kitchen dinner and flat ware, blender, coffee
maker etc…Beautiful sunny French doors open out from kithcen to
the private brick paved garden terrace.relax on outdoor furniture
enjoy grilling on the patio with Webber gas grill.
The house features a lovely large Screened in porch overlooking the
brick garden terrace, furnished with comfortable antique wicker,
perfect for afternoon tea or evening cocktails. We have a large
dining room area that seat 8-10 with formal dinnerware and flatware
for 24. Our house has a formal living room, which is charming and
comfortable.The informal living room off the kitchen has a TV DVD/VCR
and Cable. The house is cable ready with wireless Internet access and
fax machine. 2 off street parking spots .There is a laundry room in
the basement with 2 washers and 3 dryers. Beach Chairs and Beach
Towels, umbrellas magazines, books and games are provided. We Promote
a smoke free environment (smoking is allowed outside on the terrace
only.)
