Vacation Rental Description

Wolverine Lake Chalet will be your "dream home away from home", and be the starting point for your  
unforgettable Alaskan vacation! The Chalet is a three story structure, the upper two floors  
comprises our 3 bedroom vacation home rental.  
 
Only and hour's drive from Anchorage, Wolverine Lake Chalet seems like a fly-in lodge, but without  
the hassle and expense, and allows more freedom in your itinerarary, being centrally located and  
only 20 minutes from town and shopping. 
 
Guests enjoy spectacular views through the glass front and large deck, overlooking pristine  
Wolverine Lake and the Chugach Mountain range. Spectacular Matanuska Peak and the Lazy Mountains  
Hiking and Recreation Area are literally in our front yard.  
 
The chalet is comfortably furnished and decorated in keeping with the Alaska theme. Pine paneling,  
bear rug, and local pottery complete this atmosphere. Fully furnished kitchen and bathrooms, sauna,  
bbq grill, wine glasses, linens, outdoor hot tub ~ all of the amenities are provided. 
 
We have a walk down to the lake where you will find a dock and boats, canoes, and paddleboat  
awaiting you! Fishing poles and gear are provided as well for your convenience. We have a large  
viewing deck and horseshoe pit located just above the lake where guests can view the spectacular  
scenery and unspoiled peace of the lake and mountains. You can roast marshmallows and hot dogs in  
one of our three fire pits on the property. 
 
In the evenings, enjoy the call of the loons and watch moose feeding in the marsh. Catch a wild  
rainbow trout for supper, or experience a canoe ride while a curious muskrat, otter, or beaver  
watches you from nearby.  
 
The owners are on-site to provide you with help booking any trips you might want to take while in  
Alaska, and you WILL! Glacier cruises, guided salmon or halibut fishing trips, white water rafting,  
glacier hiking on the Matuska Glacier, railroad tours, you name it, you can find it right here in  
the Matanuska-Susitna Valley.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Linens, appliances, fully furnished, full kitchen and bathrooms, sauna, hot tub, BBQ grill,  
satellite television, wi-fi internet, dock, boats, fishing equipment, on-site booking for tours and  
fishing.

Activities and Attractions

You can fish and boat, hike, play horseshoes, ATV tour, and many other activities right here at the  
Chalet!  Also, fresh and saltwater guided and unguided fishing, glacier/wildlife/ocean tours,  
shopping, sightseeing, gold-panning, flightseeing, wildlife parks, white-water rafting, glacier  
hikes, hiking, museums, shopping, Denali National Park, Prince William Sound, the Alaska Railroad,  
and more activities are available, if you have any special requests for information, we would be  
happy to help!

Vacation Rental Rates

Jun. 1 - Sept. 20 .............. $3699/week.  3 night min. 
Off Season: Sept. 21 - May 31.. $2399/week.  2 night min. 
Local Bed Taxes Are Assessed at 5%.
