This luxury log home was built in 2005. Beautiful new cabin furnishings throughout. Everything in this home is upgraded from the kitchen to the game room. Tremendous views of Lake Nantahala and the Smokey Mountains from the two large decks. 30' ceilings on the second floor with wide open views from the living room and kitchen.  

Relax by one of the two fireplaces. One wood burning in the living room and a gas log fireplace in the master bedroom. One bedroom and one bath on the upper floor and 3 bedrooms and one bath on the bottom floor. Large TV and game room, Master and upstairs bedroom.  This real log home is a unique and truly amazing place to stay.

Just come and relax in the Smoky Mountains. You are at 3,200 feet of elevation and the emerald colored Lake Nantahala is crystal clear. Pontoon boat rentals are nearby and allow you to explore and fish the lake.

Just pick up groceries in Franklin (16 miles) or Andrews (8 miles) on your way in and relax once you get here. The cabin in fully equipped with everything you’ll need. The views are truly amazing. This house is a quality built log home with wood floors and rustic charm. After a day of leaf-peeping, rafting, swimming, skiing, mountain biking or hiking you’ll find the hot tub inviting and the views breathtaking.

If you’ve never been in this section of the country, you are in for a treat.

Swim, Ski and fish on the lake. In the Fall, you are in the heart of leaf-peeping country. Famous whitewater rafting and kayaking just minutes from the house. Rent canoes, boats, or bring your own. Public boat ramp close by. The fishing is great on the lake or in the rivers. Catch bass, lake trout, salmon, rainbow and brown trout. Mountain biking is world famous in this part of North Carolina (Tsali). Hiking trails and rock climbing are nearby as well. Horseback riding, Snow skiing in Maggie Valley. 5 Golf courses within 1 hour drive. We will provide a list of activities and directions to these and other nearby attractions.

Some of the best motorcycle cruising roads in the southeast, Deals Gap/Tail of the Dragon is less than 40 minutes of great riding away from here, Off-road riders will enjoy Cullowhee OHV area about and hour away.
