Waterfront Duplex in Old Lyme

The beach house is on the sand! Enjoy the ocean view from our private home
at Hawk's Nest Beach.
Each rental side of the duplex includes a fully equipped kitchen (one with a
pantry), a fireplace in
the living room, screened-in porch overlooking the beach and 3 bedrooms (one
queen, one double and
two twins) as well as a bathroom. The beach has plenty of room for your
boat, jet ski, portable
gazebo, etc. Well mannered dogs are allowed.

Very private, friendly atmosphere. Walk along the street and observe the
nesting osprey to the
north. Sit on the beach at night and see Orient Poimt lighthouse and Plum
Island to the south, Old
Sayrbook lighthouse to the west and New London lighthouse to the east.
You need only to bring sheets, towels and paper supplies.

The home is convenient to golf courses, jet skiing, restaurants, antiquing,
entertainment and
shopping. The beach community offers lots of activities for children
including movie nights,
painting, scavenger hunts, 4th of July parade, etc. There is also the
general store within close
walking distance--a fun place for slushies, toys, T-shirts, hats, and the
basics. Tennis courts are
also available for your use, and bike riding is a popular pastime.

Mystic Aquarium, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos as well as ferries to Block
Island are all within
less than a hour's drive.

Pre-season rates are from $1,500 to $2,300 per week from June 7, 2008 to June
27, 2008

In season rates are $2,550 per week from June 28, 2008 to August 29, 2008
Discounts are offered for two or more weeks.

Off-season rates are from $1,000 to $2,300 per week after August 29, 2008
