BY WATER: Near the 28 Mile Marker there is a HUGE cove (about 1
mile long) heading South...about 1/3 of the way in...there is a mini-
cove on the right...this is where Plam Lane Vacation home is located
We have a Google-Earth created map we can send you that denotes key
locations on the lake...by request we can e-mail this to you. Your
boat will be protected and you can see the huge cove which is great
for skiing. The Location makes you centrally located on the
lake..one direction takes you to the dam, Shooters, Party Cove and
the busy parts of the lake...the other direction will lead you to
(FOUR CORNERS=31 Mile Marker)which is just 2 miles from the home. At
this junction of the lake you can head up the Osage 32MM-50MM and
enjoy the quiet waters of the west side & natural beauty...or head
down the Big Niangua towards Ha Ha Tonka Castle / Natural Spring.
Our guests just love the location....and especially when considering
the Land Location.
BY LAND: The home is located just a few miles off Hwy 54 at the
intersection of "Y" road...(Big Surf Water Park). This intersection
is 1/2 way between Camdenton & Osage Beach. Our guests love this
because you can quickly go towards Camdenton to Walmart Supercenter
for most needs...or...you can go towards Osage Beach to all the
Tourist Activities...and be there quick...yet you are not stuck in
all the traffic or jam-ups that can so often occur there in the
summer season

This is a VERY SPACIOUS HOME OF 2300 SQ. FT. - unlike the average
typical 1600-1700 floor plans that are so common. You will have room
to spread out and enjoy!!
If...PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT...THEN THIS IS YOUR VACATION HOME!!
Imagine yourself on the upper deck...watching the sunrise with your
morning coffee...right next to the treetops with the Cardinals and
Bluebirds saying..."You picked the right home"!!! You'll have
excellent spacing and privacy from adjacent neighbors too, which we
feel is important to having a relaxing vacation.
We have made special arrangements for the launching of your boat.
The PRIVATE BOAT LAUNCHING RAMP is very close by...literally just
around the corner. You can also "safely store" your boat or jet ski
trailers there.
The BOAT DOCK (slip size = 12'wide x 32'long) sets in a sub cove off
of a very large cove just about 1/4 mile off of the main channel at
the 28 mile marker. You can swim..or fish..or water ski or jet
ski...all so very close. Head up the lake to the Dam or Party
Cove, or go the other direction to the really quiet areas of the
lake. We have been told by previous guests..."IT JUST DOSEN'T GET
MUCH BETTER"!!
*** Guests only need to supply thier own beach towels, life jackets,
food, soaps and personal items...We'll even send you a "CHECKLIST"
of "THINGS TO REMEMBER". We also have available in the
home...Specials from around the lake on Golf, Restaurants, Amusement
Discounts and more.
As you know - LOCATION IS IMPORTANT - We are only 5 min. away from
BIG SURF WATER/THEME PARK - without even going out on the hiway!!
This make it very easy to drop off the kids and still be able to go
boating - never having to fight the sometimes busy summer traffic.
Yet the home is still very close to all the "EXCITING THINGS TO DO".
FACTORY OUTLET MALL(112 stores - Largest in State of Missouri). A
new Walmart Supercenter is now only 3 miles on Hwy 54 towards
Camdenton. Of course you can go on tours of Bagnell Dam, visit
the "Old Time Shopping at THE STRIP".
Hundreds of restaurants are available both by land and water... Be
sure to ask us for referrals on the ones you "DON'T WANT TO MISS".
