Riverside House is a beautifully architectured home that sits right
on the edge of the enchanting Truckee River in the heart of
historical downtown Truckee. Just steps outside the front door of
Riverside House is Truckees' famous Commercial Row, which boasts the
Tahoe regions finest shopping, dining and night life. Minutes away,
you will be at one of the many world class ski resorts that abound
in the Sierra Mountains. Lake Tahoe, and its wonderful shops and
restaurants are a mere 15 minutes away.

Enjoy your stay
After a hard day of skiing, enjoy a hot tub on the back deck which
sits directly above the Truckee River, or enjoy a quiet sit by the
fire. If you choose not to dine out, the gourmet kitchen in the
Riverside House will have everything you need [except for the food!]
to create your own meals. The kitchen has a granite bar, and opens
directly onto the living area, which creates a great social ambiance.
At the end of the night, snuggle up in of the two master bedrooms
the Riverside house has to offer. Each of these rooms has a private
bath, queen bed, TV, DVD, telephone, down pillows/comforters, and
many other special touches. In the larger of the two bedrooms, a
futon couch is available for extra sleepers, in the smaller of the
two bedrooms, a single roll-away will be provided, if needed. All
linens will be provided, as well as a once-weekly maid
service/changeover of the linens.
Riverside House is truly a unique home, and has just been
redecorated and refurnished from top to bottom. Your stay at
Riverside House will provide you the opportunity to leave the
limiting ski resort rental, and enjoy the true flavor of the
Truckee/Tahoe lifestyle.
