Vacation Rental Description

A favorite that sells out every year, this absolutely beautiful,  
1600+ sq. ft. one-story condo has high-quality furnishings, provides  
true country-club living, and a view to die for.   
The patio is situated on the second green of the Ted Robinson  
designed Championship Course, facing south and looking back up the  
2nd and 3rd fairways with a back drop of palm trees and the desert  
mountains.   
The condo is an end unit, so it is bright and airy inside  
and provides you lots of space to walk around outside.   The unit is  
literally steps away from a seldom-used pool and jacuzzi, one of  
over 45 on the grounds.   
 
For those of you that know Palm Valley CC, this is the Cottonwood  
design - 2BR plus a den. The living room and dining room are on the  
golf course.  The unit is in the quiet, southwest quadrant of the  
development, faces south, and looks down a double fairway (2&3 of  
Championship Course) 
 
The master has a king size bed. The guest bedroom has 2 twins, or if  
you prefer, they can be pushed together for a king size bed.  In the  
den there is a pull-out sofa.    
 
The unit has all the amenities you'd expect in a high-end country  
club home.  All rooms are tastefully furnished in light colors and  
in excellent condition.     
 
Outside, the patio off the living room sits right on the golf  
course, and it includes a gas grill, table for four, and two lounge  
chairs.   A separate, private patio is off the master bedroom.  The  
unit is on a corner lot, so there is also a yard for kids to play in. 
 
The country club itself is a private, gated community with stunning  
landscaping, ponds and waterways, and a beautiful setting with the  
mountains in the background.  While I'm not allowed to list the  
website of the Palm Valley Country Club, you can find it on Google  
and see more.  
 
This unit is my personal vacation home, and it is cared for as  
such.  The quality/price combination makes it one of the best values  
in the Desert Valley and it is often booked a year in advance for  
peak times. So, please check the on-line calendar for availability

Vacation Rental Amenities

The unit is next to a semi-private pool with jacuzzi.  While not  
literally a private pool, there's not much difference.  Another pool  
and jacuzzi are  
across the street. 
 
Palm Valley Country Club is a full service, high-end club in Palm  
Desert.  By renting the unit, you will have full access to the  
club house and restaurants, club house pool, and the practice golf 
facilities.  
 
 
The unit itself is fully equipped with :

- 3 TVs: Master, Den, and Living Room (with Cable and HBO)

- Wireless Hi-speed Internet Access (accessible from the pool)

Activities and Attractions

This is Palm Springs - a community designed to entertain!  Besides  
golf, tennis, and swimming at the club, there are a million things  
to do.   Great shopping, incredible dining experiences, art  
galleries, museums, the mountains, casinos.  The real question is  
what isn't there to do! 
 
NEW FOR 2007:  Beginning Jan 1, 2007, rental tenants will not have 
access to the golf courses or tennis facilities of the Palm Valley 
Country Club, unless accompanied by a member.  However, there are 
ample choices for golf nearby and the town tennis courts are less  
than 10 minutes away (free of charge, never busy and lit for night  
tennis).

Vacation Rental Rates

Property is available for weekly or monthly rentals.  
 
 
 
Holiday Weeks (Xmas, New Year, and Easter): $1600/wk 
Feb - March: $4400/mo.  Minimum one month stay.  
Jan:  $1250/wk, $4100/mo 
April: $1200/wk, except Easter  
May - June:  $1100/wk.  Neg. Monthly 
July - Sept: $800/wk, $1400/mo.   
Oct - Mid Dec: $1000/wk, $2500/mo 
 
Rentals for less than one week charged the one week rate. 
Rates do not include one-time cleaning fee of $125. 
Rentals less than one month subject to 11% CA Temporary Occupancy  
Tax.
